Your Own World
Disclaimer: Do you know how much I wish I owned Harry Potter? But if I did, I wouldn't be posting this disclaimer, would I?
They say you live in your own world. They say that you don't know the difference between what's real and what's imaginary. They're right.
But that's the way you prefer things, so their assumptions don't bother you. It's them you pity, stuck in a colorless world. If that's their idea of normal, you're quite happy to be "loony."
Your mind is your only safe place, away from the others who see you as different, and difference as a threat. And so that's where you stay, locked up happily where no one can reach you, in a place more vivid and bright than they could handle.
So you don't need their sympathy, their strange sideways glances, their surreptitious looks as they pass you in the corridors. You don't need any of that when you have your own world.
Author's Note: That was…strange. Not really sure if I like it, and I know it's incredibly short, but I wanted it to be. I'd really love some reviews, because this is my first time writing Luna, and I'm not sure if this is any good at all.
