Hunt
Today we hunt,
For a subject unknown,
A face we see,
That is all we know.
Under the bushes,
Over the fence,
We run and run,
Till our enemy's end.
Our enemy begs,
For his life be spared,
But how can this be,
When he's done a bad deed?
Our minds wander,
'What do we do?'
But we knew the answer,
It wasn't new.
He must die,
Like all the rest,
For it was us,
Who were put to the test.
We couldn't fail,
For pain we'd feel,
Over a life we gave,
A life we saved.
We were taught to hate;
Trained to kill,
But didn't they know,
We could all feel?
