A/N: Hello and Welcome! (I'm not greeting you all like that every time!) Here is a short little thing I don't even know what to call this. Not a oneshot yet not a full story. I'M CONFUSED!
Well...
ENJOY!
Sakura
AkuMaru
(Axel+Marluxia)
It was an off day and Marluxia had just finished watering and weeding his rose beds. They were always the last to get tended to because he wanted to take extra care with them. Even though his garden was filled with many colors, red always caught his eye for some reason. He didn't even know why it just always had been that way ever since he joined. He remembered his first days with the organization. Shy as Roxas, but brave and powerful as Luxord. It took him longer to start to talk again though. Manly because he wanted to get everyone's names right before he started. His new first word was still held close to his heart.
Marluxia slowly got onto his feet, careful not to step on any of his roses and followed the small stepping stone path to the row of weeping willow trees. To anyone else the garden would end there, but not to him. He pushed aside the thick curtain of leaves and walked through. Once the willow trees were behind him, he shook his head to get all of the dead leaves off. He headed up a small hill to where his secret place was, His sakura tree.
He found that tree when he first joined the organization. It was almost dead and somehow he had managed to nurse it back to health. It was originally an accident but that was how he discovered his powers.
When he got to the top of the hill he sat down, back resting against the rough bark of the tree. He moved his arm back and brushed against something. He opened his eyes, scared to look behind him.
"I thought I was the only one who knew about this place."
Marluxia knew that voice. That same voice that he heard every morning and every night.
"Axel?" Marluxia questioned.
Marluxia looked behind him and sure enough it was the red head himself, leaned up against the other side of the tree, never even bothering to move a muscle to see if it really was Marluxia. All he did was open one of his eyes slightly and look down upon him. It was one of those moments that felt perfect. The weather brought a pleasant, cooling breeze through the air and the sunlight hit Axel's face perfectly. For a second, just a split second, Marluxia thought he felt a pain like a knife stab through his chest.
A pain that could only be described as love.
