The Moon Stained Red

Summary: This is a short little drabble because I need to vent some pent up stress. I need to return to my most beloved pair. It probably don't make much sense, but it's about 500 words so oh well. By the way this isn't the real affects of a red moon, it just fit, says I.

The memories welled up in his chest. The pain felt so big, all the anger he had, all the hate, it was too much. He looked up at the night sky, the moon was full, with a strange red tint to it. It reminded him of blood, of anger and heat. He sat up from his laying position and stretched. He got up slowly and proceeded to climb back into his room.

He ached, this wall that he had put up between him and others was killing him. He didn't want to be alone anymore, he didn't want to be separate from normal people, he had escaped that black room, so why was it still black in his heart? He walked over to the window and looked out at the dark night sky, only mildly lit by the moon with an odd red tinge to it.

The moon was red and held the power to drive people's thoughts into lunacy. Yuki and Kyo were both affected at this time, a time when they were dwelling on their hate for each other, their resentment of each other, their hidden lusts.

Yuki saw a shadow at the side of his window, it was probably Kyo just climbing back into his room. Kyo, the fiend who hated him so much, who proved Akito's words to be painfully right, who he had only wanted to be friends with. At that time, it still ached now, when he was ready to open up, he was struck and further he had recoiled until there was no return. But maybe this could be his return, right now, at this very moment. Maybe he would be struck again but for some reason he found himself striding away from the window, out his bedroom door and into Kyo's.

Kyo looked up, shocked at the sudden intrusion. "What the hell are you doing?" he tried to ask angrily but he failed to cover the surprise in his voice. Yuki was looking at him with such intensity it was unnerving.

"I love you," Yuki said jerkily.

Kyo couldn't believe his ears. "What did you say?" The only reply he got was a stare. He supposed the rat wouldn't say it again. "You damn Rat!"

Yuki's eye's widened, he suppose he should have expected this but… he couldn't take it, the look on Kyo's face was nauseating. He couldn't take it, turning he fled the scene of his confession.

End Note: Well I can say that is not ended but that is all I will write for now until next time when I need to relieve tension. I take a big breath in and let it go.
