Chapter One

The basketball boy, Troy Bolton, is trying out a new sport in his junior year at East High. Water Polo and Swimming are more complicated sports. In Polo you have different shots: pump shot, T-shot, dry shot and wet shot are just some of the plays in polo. Swimming you have four different strokes and from these strokes you get different events.

The relationship between Troy and Gabriella fell apart after the musicale. She kept bugging him to try more on his school work and play less and think less about the sports he love. He just could not do that; after all he is a jock. They were from two different worlds, nerd and jock. Troy then fell for a cheerleader named Quincy.

Troy and Quincy were dating for a while, but while they dated Troy began to realize what kind of girl he liked. He liked a smart, brave and free-spirited girl. Yes that girl was Gabriella.

The same thing happened with Gabriella. She began to date another brainy guy. While she was dating him she too realized what kind of guy she liked. She liked an athletic, brave and kind. That guy was Troy. They both missed each other.

They began to remember when in their sophomore year they shock the school. They were both afraid to call one another because they were "dating".

To get his mind off of Gabriella, Troy tried to take up Swimming and Water Polo.

Troy finished playing basketball in his sophomore year and in his junior your started Water Polo. He was made team captain of the East High Boys Water Polo Team.

The first thing Troy has to do is learn the terminology of water polo, and to know the rules like the back of his hand. Then Troy has to compose a team. The team consists of: Jason Cross, Chad Danforth and Zeke from the basketball team.

Troy was also captain of the Boys Swim Team, which, a lot of the polo team was one because it is recommended that if you do water polo you do swimming as well.
