My first fanfiction, people! Reviews would be appreciated for this small, pitiful chapter.

"See you tomorrow, Jo." She smiled at her co-worker and waved as she walked out the automatic doors of the lobby. Her slender, yet calloused hand lifted to a stray strand of dark brown hair from her face and proceeded to walk across the road to Café Araceli. After waiting for a couple of cars to go by, she strode quickly to the café and grinned to the cashier.
"Just a café mocha as usual tonight, thanks Kerrie." Kerrie was a pleasant girl in her late teenage years. She was saving up for a car by taking various jobs at cafés and restraunts. Kerrie smiled slightly and swiftly asked another worker to prepare the beverage.
"So Holly.." Kerrie leaned over the counter and smiled more slyly. Holly raised an eyebrow and put a few dollar bills on the counter.
"There's nothing between Anders and I, I've told you that already." Holly said, smiling. If I smile any more I think my bloody face will snap, she thought.
"That's not what he told me." Kerrie giggled and retreated further behind the counter to avoid a playful slap to the arm.
"Bugger off, woman!" Holly said and got her cup of coffee from the other cashier. "Anyway, you need a ride home? If you don't, I'll just buy a carton of beer and bloody drink myself to sleep. I've got nothing else to do anyway, unless you want to come over?" She asked. Kerrie shrugged and went into the back room and emerged later with a thick faux fur coat draped on her shoulders.
"Might as well. My shift's over anyway." The two walked out the doors and towards Holly's small, black car. They got in and began to drive.
After a long bout of silence, Kerrie spoke. "Hey Holly, you want to see Return of the King with me on Thursday? Orlando Bloom is one lovely piece of man flesh. And he's even from the same country as us! I always said I was gonna marry an Englishman.. you know.."
"I can't.. Ida practically slaves me back at the office and I need to earn a buck somehow. Maybe some other time." Holly replied and turned the corner to Kerrie's apartment block.
"Pity. You know, you'd look great paired up with an elf." Kerrie said as she got out of the car, before shutting the door, she said "And you've got the pointy features, beautifully exotic.."
"Oh shut up. You're just overexaggerating the failed fake tan I tried. I'm not that great looking. Now shut the bloody door it's beginning to snow in here!" Kerrie laughed slightly and shut the door softly before running into her block to save herself from the snowy cold.
"Exotic looks my foot. I'm about as exotic as a hula girl lamp.." Holly muttered to herself as she drove down the quiet residential streets. She held the hot cup of coffee in her left hand as she steered with her right. The car went over a pot hole, causing Holly to spill her coffee on her lap.
"Bloody hell!" She hissed and tried to wipe it off with a napkin. The sound of a horn filled her ears. She looked up and saw a car coming towards her. There were no roads to turn off from since it was a long street. Holly turned sharply into someone's driveway, only for the tires of her car to slide on the unshoveled snow. The last thing she saw was a tall tree headed her way before she was plunged into darkness.
