Author's Notes:
This is my first time to write a New-Gen fanfic(It's a ONE-SHOT)…So, review and let me know, yeah? I know, even though I support Dramione, Rose and Scorpius were meant to be… Oh yeah, and the old stories…Well, I've got a serious writer block…especially for Desperate times calls for desperate measures…But…PLEASE GIVE ME SUGGESTIONS! I don't know what to do! –wails-
Anyway, I've got a couple of ideas for new fics, but yeah…exams are next week…Gah.

Too Late
By AddictedtoReadingJC
Summary: He was ready to fight, to give anything. But it was too late, and Lysander Scamander saw it. ONE-SHOT
Pairings: Lysander Scamander/ Rose Weasley Scorpius Malfoy/ Rose Weasley
Timeline: New Generation, 3rd Year
It started when they were young, the attraction.
Oh, not Rose. Rose Weasley never had any feelings for one Lysander Scamander.
And he knew it.
But every time Rose threw him a smile at family gatherings, he just couldn't help wondering if there could be a future for them.
He stopped fantasizing for a while, when they first started at Hogwarts. Both of them were in Ravenclaw. Well, Lysander begged the Hat to put him in wherever Rose was going to be in. It worked. But not in the way he expected.
She was following Albus bloody Potter around school, and even though he knew that they were only best friends, he just couldn't help wishing he could punch that famous face. Heck, he was jealous. Very jealous. They were both in the same House, but she was spending more time with that bloody Slytherin than with her own Housemates! Oh, and that Scorpius Malfoy? He was evil, just plain evil. Lysander just knew it. That stupid trio made him sick.
The solution?
Girls. Eons of girls.
So Lysander Scamander immersed himself into girls. One-offs, shags, broom-closets… Even his mother was disappointed.
"You're losing it," Lorcan said to his twin. "If you really loved Rose, you wouldn't do this. Cuz Rose? She's not very happy either." And Lorcan left his brother to his thoughts.
Lysander, meanwhile, was feeling very exuberant.
She cared about him.
Rose Weasley, cared about him, Lysander Scamander!
He wanted to scream and shout for joy. But that would ruin his cool.
So, Lysander took a deep breath and ran to the nearest boy's bathroom. He took off his dragon-fang earring and washed off the hair gel piled up in his hair.
Trying not to skip, Lysander maneuvered his way through the crowd of disappointed girls who were leaving the Library. Curious, Lysander went in and shoveled his way through the leaving throng. He heard some noises at his right, where the crowd had finished eavesdropping. He peeked in through the gaps of dusty books at the scene unfolding before him.
Big mistake.
Lysander backed away quickly, the shock on his face visible between the books. He wasn't discovered by the couple who were currently full-on snogging behind the shelf yet. And he didn't want to.
Lysander slumped down onto the unswept floor of the library.
It was too late.
He should've seen it coming. They were always together. He was just blinded. Blinded.
It was what he feared most.
Lysander Scamander had lost.
Lysander Scamander had lost to Scorpius bloody Malfoy.
