Modestlobster hey! Great job of putting tweets into prose ;)

Ameliebug I love that part too. Hope you enjoy this!

Sea of Topaz hello! I love your name haha. Thanks for the review.

Disclaimer: (Do we even use these anymore? *shrug*) I've been at a writing workshop under the company Monsters Under the Bed. Amazing people, they are. *nod* I didn't win (no surprise) because my fiction prose is pathetic which goes to show that I should stay in the merry land of poetic prose. JK's fiction prose = amazing. End of story.

His eyes bore straight into the paper, a smile playing at the sides of his lips.

"OI, WOOD!" His coach hollered, annoyed that his keeper had his head in the clouds.

"Right. Sorry, coach." Oliver folded the blessed letter up into a square and slipped it into his pocket. He glanced up and saw the chasers already in formation with wicked grins on their faces. A jolt shot straight through the keeper's body as he gulped, worrying for the sake of his physical state after practise.

Oliver lay on the pitch among with the rest of the Puddlemere team. Now he knew how his team used to feel. He thought that he was pretty fit… He was sadly mistaken.

"Never. Moving. Again." Jedi1 gasped, staring dazedly at the sky. Oliver glanced at his watch, groaning as the muscles in his arms protested angrily. 8.50 pm. All he wanted was to go home and…

Katie. Damn it. He was going to be late. Almost stumbling over his teammates, he apparated quickly to 31 Pinehill Drive… Katie's home.

He pushed open the gate and walked up the driveway, all thoughts of his fatigue disappearing from him immediately. His callused fingers merely touched the door before it creaked open gently, revealing his girlfriend of three years seated on the sofa.

"Kates…" Oliver rasped, walking up to her like a naughty schoolboy to his teacher. He landed on the spot next to her, taking her soft hands in his. Too soft to be a chaser's.

"HOW COULD YOU HAVE THOUGHT THAT I WOULD LEAVE YOU?" The keeper winced at her shrill tone, not unlike that of a howler.

"I thought…"

"NO, YOU DIDN'T THINK! MERLIN, OLIVER, YOU ARE SO DENSE!"

Oliver cowered (well, as much as a six foot man can cower, that is) as she took her hands from his and stood up.

"I'm sorry! I didn't want you to walk away from me…" He pleaded his case, fully knowing that she would forgive him but as the seconds ticked pass, he began to doubt himself.

Katie looked at the Scot seated on her sofa, the picture of innocence. And just like that, her heart melted and she hugged him.

"I know."

Oliver grinned, pulling his arms around her. "Katie."

"Oliver." She teased, pulling back to look him in the eye. And then their positions were reversed, he pushed her down onto the sofa before crashing his lips onto hers.

Katie gasped at his dominance, allowing him to snake his tongue into her mouth. A guttural moan escaped from Oliver before she pulled away, eking out a groan of protest from him.

"Why don't we take this to the bedroom?"

Oliver rubbed him eyes, peering at the bedroom clock on the table beside him then at the blonde beauty at his side. He smiled softly, pressing a chaste kiss to her hair and snuggling down next to her.

She turned on her side to face him, smirking.

"Why do I put up with you, Ol?"

"Because you love me."

'And mostly', he mused silently, 'because I love you.'
