The Forgotten Dog Years

Disclaimer: I don't own Harry or any of the characters! They all belong to Ms JK Rowling

Author note: I hope you like this. I'm doing this while I'm supposed to be writing my 3000 word essay on Pope.

Summery: The loss that Tonks feels after Sirius's death.

She walked through the rainy streets of London. The front of her black boots were all wet. Her socks inside her boots were soaking. Her toes were freezing cold but she did not care.

Her hands were in her black coat, the one with the pink stitching. He always liked this coat. He complimented her when she wore it, with her bright pink hair

"You look stunning Tonky. All that pink, reminds me of when you were little. And cute!"

Then he laughed, his loud dog like laugh. How she cursed him that day. Remus sat next to him laughing, while Sirius through fits of laughter told him about the time Tonks accidentally burned down her fathers shed.

"It was hilarious Moony! You had to be there! Ted was running around like a headless chicken. Tonky whole face turned red, literally. Her hair, her pupils, her cheeks, her eyes, even her clothes!

And he sat there, laughing. Tonks had given him an "I'm gonna kick your ass" look but Sirius laughed harder.

How she missed him.

She carried on walking, looking down on the wet pavement. It had begun to rain faster and she was soaking wet.

She remembered how agitated he had gotten in the house. He kept moaning to her, asking her to take him out in his dog form.

She had. It was their secret. No one knew, not even Remus.

He loved it that day; he was free for that day. When they returned back to the house, he transformed and gave her a peck on the cheek. "You're the best Tonky. You're just like your mother"

He smiled at her and then he walked away

That was the last time they spent a private moment together

He was gone. Killed by her so-called aunt.

Tears began to come down her cheek. She began to sob

She missed him. She missed him like a brother, an uncle and a friend.

Her long black hair flew behind her as the wind swept towards her.

She turned the corner, onto the familiar road. She hated this place. It reminded her of him. Everything about it, from the smell of the place to his wand that lay on the kitchen cabinet. No one had moved it. No one had dared.

She walled up the stone stairs that led to the battered front door.

She stood there for a minute, gasping for air. She took out her tissue and wiped her face. She had to be strong. She needed to be strong

If he were watching, he would have laughed at her

"Tonky you little cry baby. Still the same as ever."

She looked up at the sky and smiled.

If he were watching then he would get her smile.

He would know that she loved him and that she would do anything for him

That's why she entered the old dark house on that deserted street.

It was what he wanted.

What Sirius wanted.

There you go. I hope you liked it! Now I must get back to Pope! Lol Geha xXx
