Summary: Francine goes to surprise Stan at work, only to discover something she shouldn't have discovered, making her realise what kind of a monster her husband is.
I do not own American Dad.
Enjoy!
Francine Smith sat in the house on the couch, waiting for somebody to walk through the door so that she can talk to them.
She began taping on her knees before she suddenly got up and said. "I know! I'll visit Stan!"
She knew fully well that Stan didn't like her visiting at work, she could only visit if he had forgot his lunch.
And that's exactly what she did.
She created a fake lunch in the kitchen, put Stan name on the bag and then walked out of the house and began making her way to the CIA.
She had called a taxi to take her there and she soon arrived at the grand building and saw security.
"Good morning boys..." She said, walking through them while show the fake lunch bag. "My husband forgot his lunch today. I'm just bring it to him"
She was allowed through but not before preforming a security check, even the bag was scanned in before she was allowed to progress further.
She took the bag and said hello to the men she walked past, everybody knew her as Stan's wife. "Hello, boys. Just coming to give my husband his lunch."
She went from booth to booth and row to row, until she saw Stan's desk.
But no Stan in sight.
We'll, she can't just leave so fast, she just got here...
Francine walked around the cream desk only to see his computer screen and she was stunned, on his FBI computer was an order for a product that more than a little concerning to her.
"What the hell?" She said, before she began to read. "The 'Not a Big Deal Ray Version 8.2', the perfect invention to get somebody to think that what you've done is not a big deal, no matter how much of a dick you are. We boast to be the sole reason why CSI Marriages are still so secure. All we ask is the low price of $32.99"
Francine had every right to be stunned.
Why was Stan on this page?
She shook her head, Stan must be pranking her or just decide to click on the page for curiosity reason's, however her eyes soon turned to the account tab to see Stan logged in.
Francine before to look around before she confirmed that nobody was going to pass by any time soon.
Surely Stan wouldn't mind if she looked at his shopping history?
Francine dragged the mouse over and clicked, before going down to 'Shopping History' and clicking, the page loaded in a split second and she saw nothing but standard stuff he had brought for his mission which had her sighing in relief.
She scrolled down.
It got worse instantly.
The first thing her eyes zoomed in on was the worlds 'Not a Big Deal Ray Version 8.1' showing he had brought a previous model, but what draw her eyes was the quantity.
He hadn't brought it once...
He had brought it 9 times!
She stared not quite believe it, why would Stan buy so many?
Was he uncover for months?
She didn't remember any of that.
Francine scrolled down and saw more version of the same project with various quantities Stan had purchased and the date which they were purchased.
As she scrolled down only to find it was even more damning.
At some point, she got out her phone and began taking pictures, she found out that the orders went as back as a couple of days before Hayley twin brother, Bailey died.
Francine suddenly heard footsteps and went back to the page Stan was looking at before anybody could appear, she was quick to leave and took the fake bag with her.
She soon came to a normal bin and throw it into the trash, then she walked out, her emotions were not seen on her face as she called a cab and used that to go home.
She entered the house and shut the door behind her, then she sat down on the couch and just stared at nothing.
Stan...
Why would he buy such a thing and so many?
Who was he using it on?
Did he have the same mission repeatedly?
"What is everybody staring at?" said, Steve voice and Franchine realised she was now next to Roger and Claus who were trying to out stare her.
What time was it?
"O-Oh, nothing." She said, suddenly getting up and said. "Let me start dinner" and then she proceeded to walk into a wall, way off from the kitchen door.
She course corrected.
Everybody found it strange.
Francine began to cook and almost burned the chicken when Stan came home.
"I"M HOME!" He said, and he was mobbed by his kids.
Francine went to look and when she saw him, an eery feeling come over her.
"What wrong Francine?" said, Stan. "Aren't you going to give me a hug and kiss like you usually do"
"O-Of course" She said, before awkwardly going in and she felt uncomfortable hugging and kissing him, before they all went in.
Everybody could see she was on edge about something, so the complaining was kept to a minimum.
Her kids told them how their day went to lighten the mood and Francine felt like she was going to throttle, Hayley boyfriend Jeff when she heard his voice.
The guy had no job, had the IQ of a potato and was living in the house, eating their food, shopping with their money.
Why was she okay with this?
And there was another thing that made her question her ability to reason, there was an alien living inside their home because he had saved Stan life.
Roger spends there money on outfits, uses up their space, be a prick to everybody and can't be nice because it would slowly kill him.
By all right she should be turning him over to the FBI, who knows how much Roger eats up on family income per month.
And then there was Klaus.
She had an Olympic level German skinner trapped in the body of a fish in her home, this was because Stan and some guys thought he was a threat to the USA winning in the Olympics and now he trapped here.
Why didn't she find that disturbing?
Francine felt like her who life was a mess as she vacuumed while everybody watch television, when it came to turn in, Francine felt like she was stepping into bed with a dangerous person.
She finally came to a realization, as she heard Stan snore.
She was terrified of Stan.
She had been scared before, but this level of fear was nothing she felt before, somehow, she managed to fall asleep being so scared.
When Stan got up and kissed her on the cheek, Francine's instincts told her to run.
"What a beautiful day" Stan said, in his underwear, before hopping into the shower.
Francine got up and fled to the kitchen, she went past Klaus who managed to make it to the kitchen counter.
Francine thoughts were reeling.
There was no way, he would ever use that thing on her.
Right?
"Hello" said, a voice behind her, pinching her bottom and she jumped.
She saw it was Stan.
"S-Sorry" She said.
"What's, with you Francine?" said, Stan. "Is some dangerous terrorist stalking you or something?"
She laughed, hoping it was convincing and said. "Don't be silly Stan. If there was a terrorist after me, I would have told you right away"
"I know you would" said, Stan before letting slip. "If you didn't I have people following you to-"
"What?" She said, her eyes wide.
He realised his mistake and said. "Don't worry they are only there to protect the family. I am a CIA agent after all, who knows how many people maybe after my family. We know's when one of my collogues may turn spy and try to leak info on the CIA agents"
His explanation was sound but that didn't make it anymore creepy.
Does that mean he was tailing the kid's as well?
Everybody came in and Francine began to put pancakes onto the plate, they were half burnt.
"It's burnt!?" said, Roger, before throwing the plate like a child. "I'm going to get some real food."
He stormed out of the kitchen and went to 'his' room, he took cash that he no doubt stole and then walked out.
Nobody stopped him.
"Francine" said, Stan.
"Yes, Stan" She said, keeping her voice steady.
"A package is coming for me today" He said, "Can you be here to sign for it?"
"Ur, sure" She said.
They finished and she said goodbye to her kid's, boyfriend and Stan.
She turned to see Klaus.
"What's up girlfriend?" He said.
She grabbed a box, poked a two large hole through it, switched on the tv and then put it over his head.
"Hey!" He said.
"Sorry but I can't have you watch me" She said, but she wasn't heartless and said. "But I've given you holes to breath and look at the tv and crisp. If you want to eat"
Just then she heard, the doorbell ring.
She went to get it and saw the post man.
"Package" He said, holding it.
She signed for it and then took inside, she was about to put the box in the bed room when an idea suddenly appeared in her mind that made her head to the kitchen.
She put it on a table, grabbed her Kitching knife and plunged into it, yes, she knew he was invading his privacy but she thought she could say somebody tried to open it before handing to her.
She knew she was throwing the postal workers under the bus but she had to know.
She opened it and a large quantity of saw bubble wrap, she dug her hands down and clenched at something solid before pulling it back up.
Her heart stopped when she saw what it was.
It was the 'Not a Big Deal Ray Version 8.2' that she had seen on his computer!
He had brought it!
However, what was more damning was that it came with a note.
"Dear Stan Smith" She read. "Thanks to the data we have collected on your wife, Francine Smith. When you order, we would automatically prepare a special version just for you. We are very happy that we have built such loyalty with you. One blast from this and it would last 2 weeks. We cannot stress once again, that the more its fired, the more your wife starts to build resistance and eventually this version will no longer work on her. We are currently developing the next version as fast as we can, please do not shoot so often."
And Francine dropped the letter and the device.
In her hand was solid proof that Stan had been controlling her.
For how long?
FOR HOW LONG!?
However, the most she thought about it, the more she should have suspected something was wrong.
He put her in a mental hospital because he forgot their anniversary and then he gave her a bucket of fried chicken.
She should have up and divorced Stan ass right then, but she didn't.
When she found out, he was altering things about her for 20 years through hypnosis, she should have left him.
He didn't even support her when she succeed in life until she got her own tv show and then smiled when it was banned for being offensive.
When she caught him in those many creepy situations, like when she found him in his van with him and pictures of his mother boyfriends crossed out or when he left his family to die at the hands of Roger when he saw his daughter and her were in trouble.
Oh, my god.
Roger would have killed her and her family that day but they still allowed him to live with them.
She had been okay with having a murder inside the house who could snap at any minute!
In fact, Stan himself had tried to kill her several times too.
But that was the worst of it.
Their child, who was a baby and had no protection against disease had asked Stan to vaccinate him and he said no.
She had been okay with it.
She had kept silent like an obedient dog, even when they took him to hospital and he clearly needed it, she allowed Stan to talk and just went along with it.
What kind of mother does that?
She should have demanded her child be vaccinated or done it in secret and he would be alive today.
And now she knew why she hadn't spoken up.
He had zapped her back then to make her neglect her own baby and zapped her again so that she didn't feel the overwhelming grief that came with it.
After all, how can she be the wife he wanted if she was crying into everything and not doing chores?
She had married a monster.
A monster named Stan Smith and he did anything to get his way.
We'll not this time.
Francine realised in that moment she wasn't powerless.
She actually did have power over Stan.
There was a way to end Stan reign over this house and all she had to make was a phone call.
She wondered what the USA president would think if he learned that the Alien that escaped from Area 51 was not only alive but he had been concealed by none other than her husband Stan Smith, who was a CIA agent?
And scene!
Next chapter, Francine starts to put her brain to work as she calls the US president over Stan. Roger is stunned when he is suddenly handcuffed and Stan is shocked when he's arrested by his own collogues and branded a traitor to his country. Meanwhile everybody else arrives home and is stunned to see the president and his guards thanking Francine. Review/fav and follow!
