The young man, no, the dead man, stands in line.
He isn't waiting for anything good, at least he assumes not.
He is dead, so time means nothing.
Or it is supposed to, the man is bored.
In fact, this man, was barely more than a boy, with much life to live.
Now fast forward, and listen. You can hear him speaking to the judges.
"Caused many deaths, hosted Kronos, not even a completed quest." You'll hear a judge say.
"I know," The man says. "I know what I did. And I know I don't deserve another chance."
"Of course not," Another judge says.
"But you should give me one."
"And why is that?" The first judge questions.
"Because I want to redeem myself," The man says. "And I want to forget all that I've done."
"You hosted one of our greatest enemies," The judge says.
"Turned on, and killed your friends," Another continues.
"Yet, you ask for another chance?" The third questions.
"Yes," The man says. "Giving someone a second chance, wouldn't it be great to do something new?" He regrets his words almost immediately. "I want to do something to fix what I've done. In any way I can. Give me something I've never given anyone. Give me another chance."
The judges seem to consider his words.
"Very well," One says. "Elysium."
"Rebirth," The man breathes.
"Your bravery suits you well, Mr. Castellan." The second judge says.
"But your arrogance will be your downfall." The first one warns.
"It already was," The young man leaves, ready to be reborn.

"I miss him," The girl says.
"I know," The boy comforts.
"He's been reborn." The girl states, as fact, not just hope.
"How do you know?"
"Because he deserves another chance."

"What do want to name him?" The new father asks.
"What do you think of Lucas?"
