Dorothy had blind folded Charlie and dragged her out of the Emerald City. The ginger had been laughing and asking where they were going the whole way. "Seriously, Dorothy, where are we going?"

"You'll see," Dorothy said.

"Well, I can't at the minute," Charlie said giggling.

"That's the whole point," Dorothy told her.

Charlie pouted but stayed quiet. When they stopped Dorothy let go of Charlie's hand and took a few paces backwards. "I got word from the Men of Letter's that it is currently Valentine's Day." Charlie grinned when she heard that. "Now, since I couldn't do anything like get you chocolate or a card. I thought we could have a picnic?"

"A picnic?" Charlie asked, Dorothy could just see her eyebrow raise above the blindfold.

"Yes," Dorothy said and with that she reached for Charlie's blindfold and pulled it off. Charlie's eyes widened as soon as she saw where they were.

Poppies stretched on and on for miles and miles. Charlie spun around and then collapsed onto the bed of flowers beneath her. A basket was dropped right next to her head. "Picnic, remember?" Dorothy said. Charlie nodded and sat up to enjoy the food and company.
