I do not own Stargate Atlantis. This story was influenced by the episode Sunday and by the two links below as well as Jewel's songs Painters and Morning Song.
Evan Lorne kissed her softly, caressing her mouth gently with his. Her hands grasped the bottom of his shirt and lifted it over his head. The shirt dropped on the floor as Dakota moved back, a mischievous smiled gracing her smooth face. She turned, her back facing him, as she pulled her shirt off. Evan watched, enthralled, as his lover untied her straight black hair and let it fall down her bare back. Moving closer, he pulled her flush against him, nibbling her neck and caressing her smooth stomach. Her hands rested tenderly on his as the sensual music flowed over them. Dark eyes met gentle blue as they continued to kiss and touch.
"Let me paint you." His voice was husky as he pulled her pants off her.
Dakota nodded, unable to speak. She loved to watch him paint, the expression of complete concentration and dedication, the long gentle strokes on the canvas and the devotion to detail. He removed her clothes before laying her on the bed. After kissing her deeply, he grabbed his paints before studying Dakota. The music floated over them, setting the mood. A slow heavy beat gave Evan an idea about the tempo.
"Aren't you going to get your canvass?" Dakota asked, blushing and feeling self-conscious at his staring. Evan gave her a wicked grin.
"I asked if I could paint you, not paint a portrait of you." She blushed again, staring at him. To her great disappointment, he still had his pants on. Picking up on her thoughts, he kissed her again. "You'll get me naked soon enough."
Dipping his paintbrush into a soft powder blue, Evan allowed the paint to drizzle on her belly before painting a delicate swirl, leading towards her breast. The music swelled as he painted with the blue. Getting another paintbrush, he sank it into a dark blue and began to add depth to the curves. Dakota shivered at the cool touch, her eyes caught on the enraptured expression as Evan continued to design. Her toes curled as he blew on the paint to make it dry, his eyes laughing at her reaction. Giving him a mock glare, Dakota pulled him down by his dog tags and gave him a breathless kiss. Again the music swelled with their actions, drowning out the pitter patter of the rain outside.
Pulling away, he smiled and continued painting, using only blue, white and black. After finishing the swirls, he then started to paint little butterflies. The paint brush lazily trailed up Dakota's arm before he painted yet another butterfly in the palm of her hand. Blowing gently, his eyes caught hers. He smiled at the tenderness and wonder that gleamed from them.
"You are so beautiful," he murmured, kissing her gently before getting his camera and taking a photo of the finished piece.
"You are an amazing painter, the credit's all yours." She sat up and kissed him softly.
"I had the perfect canvas," Evan bit her lip tenderly before giving Dakota a heated kiss. The CD changed, the clatter breaking the moment.
"Thank you." She smiled, cupping his cheek. "Now, wasn't there something about getting you naked?"
