This is my first time writing any fanfic so please bear with me. Tell me what you think and any suggestions for the future.

Cas sat slumped in front of the TV, coloured lights flashed on his face, Dean was snoring while spread across the bed with one of his arms dangling off the side.

"Dean, Dean, wake up Dean" Cas said while nudging Dean's shoulder.

Dean didn't wake up but instead rolled over and his arm followed him back onto the bed.

"DEAN" Cas yelled now standing over Dean.

Dean jumped and insistently pulled the gun out of his pillow and pointed it at Cas's head.

He looked at Cas's scared blue eyes and lowered the gun placing it on the bedside table.

"What Cas?" he grunted as he struggled to keep his eyes open.

"Can we go to the beach?" Cas said with smile.

Dean turned his messy haired head into the blaring light of the alarm clock, it read 6:07AM.

"Cas it's 6AM" Dean said turning his head to the now smiling angel.

"So yes?" Cas said his head cocked to the side.

"No" Dean grumbled as he lifted his head and pulled a grey cotton pillow over his face.

Cas looked down at the worn green carpet and sighed. The pillow rustled as Dean rolled over his face now buried deep in the mattress.

Cas looked back up at Dean and tried once more "Please Dean" he begged. Dean now becoming more impatient lifted his arm up and through a pillow at the begging angel.

"Hey!" Cas cried as he dodged the pillow subsequently smashing his elbow on the shinny wooden desk.

"You don't have to throw things Dean" Cas said angrily crossing his arms.

Dean sighed releasing he was a bet harsh, he pulled his head out from the mountain of pillows knocking several onto the carpet "Fine lets go" he said knowing he would regret it.

"Really?!" Cas exclaimed his voice charged with excitement. Dean nodded in confirmation and smirked as he stared at Cas's excited face.

Cas watched as Dean rolled himself out of bed and stumbled though the dark into the bathroom locking the door behind him.

The handle screeched as it was turned and Dean run his hands though the cold water and smashed it on this face.

Meanwhile Cas turned off the TV and stood ready at the door waiting for Dean.

Dean walked over to the table filling his pockets with guns and knifes he toke another step towards Cas who was now standing outside, he stopped titled his head what am I missing? he did a full spin and leaded over on one foot to grab the keys they raddled as he dropped them in his pocket and he slid through the door locking it behind him.

Dean squinted as his eyes as he struggled to adjust to the bright morning light. When he reached the Impala he dropped into his seat and started the engine.

"Turn on the music Cas" within seconds ACDC was blasting though the car and Cas stared at the window as Dean sung every word badly.

"So Cas why do you want to go to the beach anyways?"

"I saw it on TV it looked like fun"

That angel watches way too much TV Dean thought as he pulled up and slammed the car door behind him "bye baby see you soon".

Cas stood still as he toke in the warm summer sun and the calming sound of waves crashing. He heard a faint "Cas" but ignored it and stared at the waves.

"CAS!" Dean yelled as he waved his hands through Cas's vision.

"Get out of lah lah land so we can go to the shore already" he said walking off

"Sorry Dean" Cas said as he ran up to Dean how was now 5 meters ahead.

As Cas and Dean sat on the warm rocky beach they said nothing instead they both just enjoyed the relaxation. It was the most relaxed Dean had been in weeks he hadn't had time for a break he was tracking family of Vampires who were quite good at covering their tracks. Cas closed his eyes and listened to the waves breaking he hadn't come to the beach because he saw it on TV he had just come because he wanted to spend sometime with Dean it had worked and in that brief moment they were happy.
