I'll Be There For You
One-shot

Reader's POV (Gender: Neutral)

The demons surround you, your hands secured uncomfortably tight behind your back. The chair is hard, one of the metal struts pressing into the laceration on your lower back.

The woman in front of you smiles coldly, waving the silver blade in her hand. "You should have never come here." She hisses.
A man walks in and motions for her. She shoots you a menacing glance before walking out of the room with him.

The dank smell of the old warehouse is starting to nauseate you. You struggle to free yourself from the thick ropes but they prove to be much too strong. The heavy cloth gag in your mouth isn't going anywhere, either.
You stop squirming, hanging your head down in defeat. I guess this is it. The end.
A flapping sound brings you out of your thoughts. How could a bird get in here?

"Well hello–" The voice cuts off. Suddenly Gabriel is crouched in front of you, pulling the gag out of your mouth. You wet your lips greedily.

"Who did this?" Anger taints his voice.

You tilt your head toward the door. "Demons. I thought... There was only one."

He shakes his head. His eyes are hard as he stands. You look around the room and realize there are more than one of him. A crowbar appears in the hand of each of them. The Angel clones start hitting the metal struts, making loud clangs and yelling "Come and get it!"

The woman strides into the room, a frustrated scowl on her face. "Loki."

Gabriel's many faces smile. You count seven total.

The rest of the demons, about five more, swarm into the room.

The Gabriel beside you, you're pretty sure it's the real one, whispers "Close your eyes."

You comply. There's the screeching of breaking metal, loud shrieks and screams, and maniacal laughing. After a few moments a soft hand touches your shoulders. You find that your hands and feet are loose.

You look up, Gabriel's hand extended to you. You take it and he helps you stand, stretch out your legs. You notice the demon bodies littering the floor.

"How did you know I was here?" You wonder aloud.

He shrugs, pulling you close to him. "I didn't. I was just dropping in to say hi."

You smile at him. "Hi."

He touches your hair, letting your head rest on his chest. "I will always be here for you."
