This was just something that came to mind when I was watching TV today. I was trying to work on being descriptive and 'painting a picture'. I don't think I did very well with it, but I did enjoy writing it. So, please enjoy. And don't forget to review!

Seven year old Isabella Swan sat on a rusty swing with a pale white daisy clutched in her tiny hands. Her eyes were closed tightly, as if she was concentrating on something.

"He loves me…" she mumbled as she pulled a single white petal off of the flower. She opened on of her eyes cautiously, and peeked at the flower still clutched in her small hands. She still had many petals to go-there was still a chance that he could love her. "He loves me not…" she mumbled once again and pulled a petal off.

She continued her slow routine with her eyes closed, until a loud noise startled her causing her to jump from her swing – her flower falling to the ground in the process. She spun around, looking for the source of the noise. Then she spotted it – him. The reason she was here in the first place.

Edward came running over to her in his dirty old sneakers with little doodles that he drew on them when he had nothing better to do. His bronze hair was all over his face, but you could still see his lopsided smile as he approached his best friend. "Bella!" he called to her.

"Hey, Edward!" she nodded and sat back down on her swing, Edward following behind her. "What are you doing here? I thought you had a play-date with Jessica Stanley?"She raised her eyebrows and crunched her nose in disgust while she said the name.

"EWW! She tried to kiss me, so I ran away!" Bella laughed at his repulsion to the situation. "Stop laughing, she can't kiss me! There is only one girl that I would let kiss me!" the words came out of his mouth before he could stop them. He clamped a hand over his mouth, as if he thought that the words would somehow come back.

Bella stared at him with wide, sad eyes and asked, "Who?"

"I can't tell you." He told her stubbornly. He looked down at her hurt expression and sighed loudly. "Fine, okay. It's you, the only girl I would ever kiss would be you." He looked back down at her shocked face, when she didn't say anything he turned and ran away.

Bella could not understand why he would feel this way about her, all day she worrying about it, and it turned out she had nothing to worry about. She looked down by her feet at the flower with one petal left. She gently pulled the last leaf off and let it fall to the ground with the others. "He loves me." She smiled.
