The standard disclaimer: I don't own Digimon and never once said I did. Anyways I can't remember who does own it.

It was another one of those bitterly cold winter nights, that Japan country was becoming to know quite well. The wind was howling its fierce banshee howl swirling the snow here and there. The darkness could not be penetrated very far because of the heavily falling snow.

I rubbed the stubble on my chin as I turned from looking out the window. The warmth from fire burning in the fireplace drew me to it like a moth drawn to flame. I sat down in the chair in front of the fire and threw another log on it and watched the sparks leap up the chimney.

I closed my eyes wondering where you where at on a night like this. You were coming to spend the weekend with me so we could spend sometime quality time together. I had something special planned for the weekend.

My hand wandered up to my chin again rubbing the dark stubble that was beginning to bother me. I got up from the warmth of fire and wandered down the hall to the bathroom. I ran some hot water into the sink causing the steam to rise and fog up the mirror. I looked in the mirror and was startled by what I saw. I saw a dark eyes that were tired and dull. I looked like I hadn't shaved in 3 days, and it was true it had slipped my mind to shave because I had been busy.

I lathered up my face and grabbed my razor and with slow even strokes I began to take off that stubble. I shivered as I felt a cold chill pass over me.

"Hey," a soft cheerful voice said behind me.

I chuckled softly, "You have the worse timing, of anyone I know."

You wrapped your arms tightly around my waist and snuggled up against my back trying to get warm. "Its really cold out there, but nice and warm right here."

I ran water over my razor and wiped my face off, and turned putting my arms around you. "It should be, I have had the fire going all day. I got plenty of wood and food to last through this storm."

I kissed the top of your forehead and spun you around pushed you out the door, "We need to talk."

You walked out into the living room and sat down on the couch curling your legs under you. "About what?"

I smiled softly, "Us."

I looked at you still in shock at what your beauty could inspire me to do at any time. I cleared my throat and licked my dry lips as I thought of the words I wanted to say. I looked up into those pale electric green eyes that could send stocks down my spine. I shivered and tried to concentrate on something else but my eyes where drawn to your light brown hair. That hair that always ended up waking me in the morning cause it tickled my nose when your slept next to me. My eyes traveled down the rest of your body causing me to shiver again.

I got up in stood in front of the fire, "Mimi, I have something serious I need to say."

You looked at me your eyes filled with surprise, "Is it good or bad?"

I rubbed my tired eyes and said softly, "It all depends on what you consider good or bad."

"I consider all the times I've spent with you good," you get up and walk up behind me resting your head on my shoulder, "I consider love that we have for each other good."

I chuckle softly, "Then you may like what I have to say."

You look up at me your eyes seemingly filled with electricity, "Tell me you, dolt."

"I resemble that remark," I kiss the top of your forehead and say softly, "Will you marry me?

"What did you say?" you voice filled with shock.

"You heard what I said, love. I asked if you would marry me?" a big grin on my face.

Your eyes fill with tears and you kiss me deeply, "Yes, I'll marry you, you dolt."

I shake my head laughing, "If you keep calling me dolt, its off."

You grab my ears and pulled me down for another kiss, "I'll marry you, m'love."
