I watched their first meeting

I watched their first case

I watched as they slowly fell in love

and I watched their first embrace.

I watched when she was taken

And I watched as he grieved

I watched as she came back

And he promised to never leave.

I have seen her get jealous

And I have seen him.

I watched as she cried in his arms

As he comforted her from within.

I watched as they both lost family members

I watched as they almost lost each other

I watched as she got sick

And I watched him wonder through the pain

And as he suffered.

I watched as she lied to high officials just for his sake

I watched as he sat down by her bedside

And I watched as she did the same.

I watched their first kiss

And as they told each that they loved each other.

I watched their first time

And the other nights that followed.

I watched as he was then taken

And as she cried for him and their unborn child

I watched as he returned from the dead to the living

And awaking to see her smile.

I watched him whisper wonderful things in ear

as he felt their child.

I watched as she gave birth to a son

..Now his child

I watched as he was forced to leave

For the saftey of his own family.

I watched as he came back only forced to run away again

As she went off to find him.

I watched them reunite

While their son barley stood smiling.

I even watched their wedding day

As I cried when they took their vows.

I watched their son grow

As her belly did the same

Now I watch them in the park

He holding their tiny daughter

As they watch their son play.

I watch as he kisses her and their daughter

And as he says " I love you"

I watch as I sit back in my wheelchair

With pride in my soul

I look and his and his family

And a tear falls from my eye.

So I put out my ciggerette

And take one last look.

At my son.. My daughter in law..

And my two grandchildren before I go

My would have been family

If they only would have known

How'd I wish I had been there

For them to see How Proud

I really am of them

That they know the love of a well deserved

happy family.
