"Are you sure?" Wayzz hesitantly asked his elderly master.

The night and shadows covered Fu's face, but the tiny turtle could clearly see the mix of pain and determination on it. The master's silence spoke volumes of the deep thought going through his head. For a moment, the green kwami floated patiently not wanting to put any pressure on his old friend.

Finally, Fu spoke.

"I'm not sure. But the signs strongly suggest it."

Fu thought back to that big battle Ladybug and her friends just had. After a desperate struggle against Scarlet Hawkmoth, the young heroes miraculously broke his cane and had him cornered on the Eiffel Tower. The villain using Nooroo was bested and in checkmate with no way to escape. It looked like Hawkmoth's days were done.

But then it happened. Suddenly, a new monster appeared. A giant moth that blew the heroes away helping Hawkmoth slip through their fingers. What was that? It was not like another akumatized victim. And none of the akumatized victims over there could have created it, could they?

Indeed, it looked like the creation of another power. No. Another miraculous. The other lost kwami.

But it couldn't be. It was gone for so long.

Ever since…

Fu's face sank. Hawkmoth and all this trouble was because of his own mistake, and that truth weighed heavily on his old body. Many nights, he woke in cold sweat from the memory and guilt of the destruction of the Order of the Guardians. But the giant moth made him remember more of what happened that lead to that great tragedy. Another memory. Another person. Someone that he had to hide in the deepest part of his mind due to the sheer pain it brought him.

The former holder of Duusu and the peacock miraculous. His old partner in China. His first love.

Peacock Sapphire.
