Cindy's POV:

Dear Diary,

Today I was thinking about Jimmy. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not obsessed, it's just...I tend to notice him alot. And it's been happening alot lately. Libby says he likes me and all, but how do I know if it's true or not? I think I will lay low for awhile and wait for him to talk to me. But is it the right thing to do? Anyways, I got to get to school. I'll right more later.

Signed,

Cindy

P.S. I hope he talks to me today (:

I closed my diary and hid it inside of my pillowcase. No one has ever read my diary. Not even Libby knows those thoughts. I walked over to my dresser and opened my top drawer. Nothing but tank tops and spaghetti straps. Hmmm...I feel like a turquoise top today, or anything noticable. I opened the drawer below it and took out my favorite pair of jeans, the blue skinny jeans I got from the Retroville Mall. I quickly got dressed and straightened my hair, and out the door I went. I barely just caught the bus, so I hopped on and took a seat next to my best friend, Libby.

Libby: "Wow, you look like your in a hurry."

Me: "Ehh, sorta."

Libby: "Well you look great, Cind."

Me: "Thanks, it's not easy being 13 and all."

Libby: "Yea, and I still have no idea what I'm doing for my 13th birthday."

Me: "I can help you plan a party, ya know."

Libby: "Yea, true dat girl!"

The bus slowed to a stop, and the students in the front seat exited the bus. I glanced out my window, staring at the Los Caballos Junior High statue. Wow, home of the lame. Hehe, just joking. Anyways, I didn't see Jimmy in his usual spot out front. Oh no, what if he isn't here today!? Get ahold of yourself, Cindy! You can get through this.

Libby: "Uh, Cindy?"

Me: "Huh?"

Libby: "You okay?"

Me: "Oh yeah, I'm just...kinda tired today."

Libby: "Alright, whatever you say."

We both stood up, and walked down the aisle to the exit. As soon as we got out of the bus, the bell had rung. Me and Libby ran up the stairs and into the hallway. I hadn't seen Jimmy in the morning rush, either. I was starting to get worried, not like I cared about him anyways, but I was still a little concerned. I finally got in Mrs. Beck's class and noticed an empty seat next to me. Wow, Jimmy has never missed any day of school before.

Mrs Beck was taking roll call when she called Jimmy's name.

Mrs Beck: "Jimmy? Jimmy? Mr. Neutron?"

Now I was starting to get worried. If he didn't show up at school, then where could he be? I know that he wouldn't ditch or anything stupid like that. But seriously, where is he? What if he died? What if he got hit by a car? What if he was sick, or moved away, or...or...ugh. I just hope wherever he is, he is okay. That's all I really want right now. And you know what? I think I really like Jimmy, really. He's not a bad guy at all, and not bad looking, either.

End of Cindy's POV.

Eeeek! Was it good so far!? More coming VERY soon. (;
