David hated crowds. He hated them more when he didn't have a choice in being somewhere crowded. But today was different. He grinned at the personalized CM Punk picture in his hand.

Today he could deal with the crowd. He had accomplished half of his mission for the day. He had met (and was proud to call him this) his friend Phil Brooks and gotten a picture for his collection.

Now onto the other half of his mission. He could see her from where he stood. Her two-toned hair shining in the artificial lights, she appeared to be a heavenly being. He stood at the end of the line and scratched his upper lip. It had seemed like such a good idea at the time; now he regretted how itchy having a mustache was. But he grew it for her, the self proclaimed "mustache enthusiast".

The line moved quickly and his nerves grew with each step. The urge to flee was huge, but he drove 3 hours to meet Phil and Celeste, and by the power of Grayskull, he was going to meet her.

Finally it was his turn.

He handed Celeste the picture of her he had bought at the door and said, "It's nice to meet you Celeste". He was happy that he only sounded a little bit nervous. She smiled up at him.

"And it's nice to finally meet you David." Bile rose in his throat as he began to wonder how she knew his name. Celeste laughed.

"Phil told me to look out for you. He just texted me to say what you were wearing." She held up her phone and showed him the text.

"I..." He paused. "Oh." She signed his picture and looked up at him. David could see the mischievous gleam in her eyes. She stood and leaned over the table, grabbing his shirt to bring him closer to her. She angled her mouth close to his ear.

"Wanna grab something to eat when I'm done here? They have food for all the celebrities in the back. I got a pass for you." She pulled a lanyard off the table. Attached to it was a laminated card that said VIP. David nodded, not trusting his powers of speech. She hung it around his neck and sat back down.

"Thank you," he said and walked away from the table, a thousand witty things he should have said coming to mind.

A security guard ushered him behind a door marked 'Authorized Persons Only'. He was greeted by Phil who walked him to catering. 20 minutes later, he saw her at the door scanning the room. She locked eyes with him, smiled, and starting walking toward him.

His heart fluttered as he watched her approach.

Mission complete.
