Part 1: Baby
St. Cloud, Minnesota, USA
April of 2006
Three Months Later
It had been three months since the day of Dean's strange and sudden heart attack. Clarissa Barrett, the woman who had been a great help to the Winchesters, had to leave due to her personal life getting in the way, but she didn't leave without promising Sam she would return to him and without giving him a goodbye kiss. Cat was still missing and it had been a year already; this worried Dean, much more than he would ever let his brother know. Sam, on the other hand, still a bit forlorn over Rissa leaving, was off on a solo hunt to find his sister, and the bastard vampyre rogues who kidnapped her, in a Charger he'd picked up for free by the previous owners, one week after the incident with Dean's heart; he pushed his sorrow to the side, he trusted Rissa to keep her word, he believed she would come back as she had promised. The brothers fixed the rig up together, more so Sam than Dean due to the older brother's condition; both knew they'd need another vehicle in the future. The younger brother didn't want to leave his older brother alone due to the events that had transpired three months earlier, but Dean encouraged his brother to go; Cat needed to be found no matter what, she was their sister, she had to be found. They couldn't let the lead they'd gotten go to waste, now could they? Dean was just going to lay low in Minnesota with his Impala until he had fully rested from his sudden and quite strange heart attack. Sam reluctantly left in search of Cat and Dean was glad. Now, he was in St. Cloud at a Super 8 motel, awaiting his brother's notification that he'd found their sister. Never knowing that the same sorceress from five years before still resided there, and he never suspected that she would try again to take his beloved Impala away.

11:07 PM, Night
It was a rainy, stormy night in April; the rain only a drizzle, but it was still wet all the same. The occupants of a motel were all asleep, including a hunter of supernatural creatures. There was a black painted 1967 Chevrolet Impala parked on wheels in the parking lot of a Super 8 Motel, in front of the room numbered 317, where the hunter was asleep inside. She was parked on wheels in the parking lot of the Super 8 Motel, in front of the motel room number 317. She was a car just sitting on wheels in the parking space Dean Winchester had parked her the afternoon before, but then there was a flash of light and a woman's scream, her scream and then she was a human woman lying curled, in the fetal position, in the same parking space. A naked woman to be exact and she was very aware of that fact, immensely aware; her whole body was freezing and she felt completely numb. She looked much like a female version of Michael Biehn's character, Kyle Reese, in the science fiction action thriller starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, The Terminator, when Kyle was sent back to the year 1984 to protect Sarah Connor, played by Linda Hamilton.
Just as before, her transformation from vehicle to human was a lot like the Terminator time portal effect, written like so: 'for time travel to occur, subject or subjects must be a living organism (or be surrounded by living tissue) in order to generate the bioelectric field needed for the time displacement equipment to operate. Nothing else can go through, not even clothes. However, there are exceptions such as dirt and mimetic polyalloy.' So needless to say, nothing, but flesh and what's underneath can come through, no clothes and no weapons, just flesh. Which meant that the woman was forced to be in the nude until she was discovered by someone, preferably the hunter who owned her, but sometimes you don't get what you prefer to have.
Instantly, the pain came, zapping her entire body. She tried not to squeal, but a strangled moan escaped her lips, a sound much like Michael Biehn's as Kyle Reese. She couldn't help it, the pain was too much. "Wh-Where am I...?" She looked all around her, seeing the room numbered 317. "Is that... That the same room as before...?" Her strange, new memory allowed her to remember that room 317 was the room where the man who owned her resided in, the man she remembered had been in that room the last time she was transformed into a human, something she wondered how she knew; she gasped softly. "D-D-D-Dean...?" She cringed in pain, trying to get up as her hands brushed up against something beside her, she looked down under her side and found a small group of toys: five crunched Army men, three half-burnt Legos and a beautiful brown haired Barbie doll whose face looked vaguely familiar. "Army men... Legos... Barbie Doll... B-Bar-C-Cat...?" The girl didn't know what to do with them and she didn't know why she felt so attached to them. She looked around once more, spotting the motel room again. "Room 317, Dean..." She tried to get up, but ultimately ended up crawling over to the door, leaving the toys on the ground where she had been laying. "Dean." Her voice was too soft, not loud enough for anyone in their rooms to hear her; her arms lifted to bang on the door and she lightly knocked once, but she was too tired and too cold to knock anymore, and she ended up falling over, curling up on the cold, damp ground in front of the door, breathing hard. "Dean..." A puff of air escaped her lips. "H-H-Help, m-m-me..." She whispered as her teeth chattered. She couldn't do anything right now, she'd have to wait until morning when the hunter awoke from his slumber. The young woman shivered furiously and coughed a few times, but other than that, she could breathe exceptionally well for a woman who'd just been a car a few seconds ago, but she was still freezing and shivering violently.
At this point, all you could see of her was a mass of messy blond hair at her head and tiny, delicate size eight feet; she was concealing most of her figure by being curled in the fetal position, although it was fairly easy to tell she was only five foot one in height, which was a whole foot shorter than Dean and even shorter than Sam, and even Cat, at her height of 5'9", was taller the woman lying down on the cold, damp ground in front of Dean Winchester's motel room.
April the 18th, 2006
1:17 AM, Night
At about 1:00 AM, there was strange activity. The strange young woman had fallen asleep in front of room 317's door. A vehicle, it's silhouette that of a limousine, pulled into the parking lot. The rain was falling harder now. A figure with an umbrella, in the shadows, roamed around the motel property. It was a sorceress, the same sorceress who turned the Impala human two hours earlier and turned her human five years ago as well to be exact, and she was looking for the woman she'd transformed. She spotted the nameless woman on the porch of room 317. The corners of her mouth curved upward in an evil smile when she saw the woman, but the smile faded to a glare when she realized what room the woman was sleeping in front of. The sorceress began her way over to the woman, seeming to saunter over to the blond's side. The woman's instincts told her to wake up and she did, looking up to see the sorceress sauntering over to her. It frightened the newly turned human as did most everything at this point since she'd just been turned from a car to a human two hours earlier, but there was something else, something the blond couldn't comprehend at the moment.
The sorceress seemed to change her appearance from evil to motherly as she came closer, helped the young blond haired woman to her feet and draped a cloak of some sort over her small human frame in the process, seeming to know how cold the blond was from being in the nude. The older woman was speaking to the blond in a calming, sort of motherly tone of voice that almost sounded genuine. "Now, now, it's alright, child." She whispered to the new human gently, trying to win her trust that way it would be much easier to get her to the castle.
"Who are you...?" The blond demanded suddenly, taking one step back.
"I'm a friend." Not really knowing what to call herself, the sorceress replied with 'friend' in an even tone.
"I don't know you, I've never seen you before..." The blond pulled away a few inches, toward the motel room; she didn't remember this woman being a friend, she remembered her being an enemy and she didn't trust her. She hadn't realized she was speaking a little too loud and that she was slowly waking a supernatural hunter from his slumber.
"It's alright, child. I'm a friend, I'm here to help you." The sorceress was having a hard time keeping the mother act intact; this was not what was supposed to happen, all of her subjects had always been obedient, but this one was different and it irked the sorceress.
"But I don't know you..." The blond whined loudly; the hunter twitched lightly.
"Come on, sweetie, let me help you." The sorceress tried once again to get the girl to let her help, but she was failing quite miserably.
"No!" The blond accidentally screamed, but then abruptly paused. "I'm cold!" The blond cried softly. It was true, she was as cold as ice to the touch and her skin was turning a bluish purple color.
Inside the motel room, the hunter was laying on his side when his body twitched violently; he heard something, screaming, a woman screaming. He was still asleep, but only halfway asleep, so he was still immensely aware of his surroundings. He could have sworn that he heard a woman's scream, and he swore that he knew the scream, like he'd heard it before, years ago, but he didn't think that was even possible. His eyes were moving under his eyelids and his eyelids were twitching, trying to open, but he was so tired, he couldn't get his eyes to fully open at this time of night.
Outside the motel room, the sorceress was still trying to get the blond to listen to her without much success, considering the blond was beginning to remember everything from five years prior, since her memory had rebooted itself completely now, only a few things still confused her. "I know, honey. I know you're cold. I'll get you some clothes. I promise. You just gotta come with me." The sorceress told her once more, irritation was slowly creeping into her face and her tone.
The blond vigorously shook her head and instinctively turned toward the motel room behind her, taking another full step back. She just knew her male companion was inside, sleeping; in the back of her mind, she knew she was trying to get him to wake up with her loud speaking, and she seemed to stare longingly at the door as if wondering whether she should blindly follow the strange demanding woman or push her away and embarrass herself by waking her companion. She seemed to stew over this new complicated choice making that she thought she knew how to handle. She really didn't want to go with this strange woman who just appeared out of nowhere, her instincts were telling her 'No! Don't go with her! Stay with Dean!', like she knew in her heart she wanted to do, but the blond didn't know what to do, her mind was a jumbled mess of confusion.
"Come along now. Come with me." The sorceress beside her was using such a soothing tone, yet, there was a bit of insistence and the blond picked up on it immediately.
"B-But, but, my companion, my owner, my friend...!" The blond didn't want to leave the hunter alone and didn't trust the woman at all, but she did want and need clothes, badly, but she knew that the hunter would provide her with something to wear and he would actually help her, not scare her to death. "I don't wanna leave him...! I won't leave him! I will not leave him!" She was screaming and not able to help it; she was remembering what fright and anger sounded like when a person spoke.
Another scream filtered into room 317 and Dean's eyes instantly popped open, he definitely heard a scream, the scream that sounded so familiar to him and he could tell that the scream sounded like she was in trouble. The hunter was the type of guy who always had to save the girl and be their hero, no matter the problem, but the scream sounded like a woman he'd known years ago, someone he knew very well, someone he'd cared about, but that couldn't be, could it? Dean turned onto his back, hands on his chest, blankets halfway on his body, staring at the ceiling, contemplating whether he should get up or not; he had a sneaking suspicion that his beloved Impala was in trouble, or worse, the human version of her was in trouble.
"You need clothes, I can get them for you. You just gotta come with me. Come along now." The sorceress tried again to be motherly and convincing, but she was getting fed up with this defiance the girl was showing her; the sorceress blamed the hunter who owned her as a car, he was as stubborn as a bull and he'd apparently imprinted the same stubbornness on the car he cared so much about and it was irritating the sorceress.
"N-No...! No! I won't do this to him, I won't leave him! Not again, not again...!" The blond shouted out a reply, stuttering a slight bit for her teeth had begun to chatter from the cold air touching her bare skin.
Again with the scream, a scream that sounded almost completely familiar now, it truly did and this wasn't something the hunter ever thought was possible, his heart flipped inside his ribcage, Dean had to get up, he just had to. He forced his tired body out of bed, forced himself into some jeans, into a shirt, grabbing his jacket on the way toward the door; forgetting socks and shoes, just wanting to see what all the commotion was about and see if his dear Impala was okay, regardless of what form she was in.
"I'm not going to ask you again, you need to come with me if you want clothes or I will have to tranquilize you." The sorceress stated plainly, yet irritatedly as she moved toward the blond, in a threatening manner.
"No!" The blond backed up into the door, slamming against it, but the sorceress grabbed her by the arms and started to pull her toward the limo.
"What the hell was that?" Dean exclaimed from inside the motel room, grabbing a pistol to hide in his jacket, just in case there was danger.
"No, let go, no!" The young woman cried as tears began to stream down her cheeks, trying her ultimate best to resist the older woman pulling her away.
"Stop squirming!" The sorceress barked at her, slowly, but surely getting closer and closer to the limo parked at the edge of the parking lot. "Stop, stop it!" She was getting angrier and angrier with the blond the more she resisted.
The hunter had immediately opened the door and took one step outside, he instantly saw that the car form of his Impala was missing, but he didn't see the human version laying in the parking space he'd left her the afternoon before. "What the hell?! Where is she?!" Dean exclaimed in worried anger as he looked up from the parking space the Impala used to be; he saw the sorceress with another young woman. The younger woman was resisting and trying to get away from the older woman, the young woman was in a cloak and it seemed, nothing else at all. He was certain that if his car was missing, then that could be the human version, but he wasn't quite certain that it really was her; he needed to see her up close. "Hey." The hunter called out to the women, taking a step out further into the rain, but there was no direct answer. "Hey!" Dean called again, taking another step, but the only answer he got was the young woman screaming 'no'.
"No! Let go! I don't wanna go with you!" The blond was screaming, waking all of the occupants in the process. She looked past the sorceress, she saw the man who once called her 'baby' slowly following her and the sorceress; her heart leaped for joy. "D-Dean! Help! Help me!" She screamed directly at Dean, calling out his name.
The hunter froze right in his tracks when he heard the younger woman call out his name. "What the- Baby?!" He couldn't be completely certain, but his heart was telling him that his car was the one who called out to him.
"Silence!" The sorceress snapped at the blond and smacked her across the face; the blond instantly went limp in the sorceress's arms, now unconscious. The older woman started to shove the younger woman into the back of the limo, head first while the cloak flapped around, covering and uncovering the blond several times.
The hunter couldn't let her get away with his car, he just couldn't, not again. "Hey! Wait! What are you doing?! Where's my car, where are you taking her?!" He shouted as he started rushing toward the limo. She seemed to be the only one who knew what was going on and Dean just couldn't shake the eerie feeling that he was looking at his beloved Impala turned human once more, so the hunter was going to question the older woman on the whereabouts of his beloved Impala and whereabouts she was going with the young woman she was roughly shoving into the back of her limo, even when he did not know for sure that this woman was the sorceress from five years earlier.
The sorceress had successfully gotten the woman into the limo as the hunter came up right behind her. "Hey, I'm talkin' to ya, lady." The hunter snapped as he started to grab for her upper arm. The sorceress was shoving the blond's legs off of the seat when he came up next to her. She was covering the blond with the cloak as the hunter looked inside the interior of the limo; he caught a glimpse of the blond's right hip and ignoring the fact that she was completely naked, he saw something else, something of more importance, three little insignificant things, scars that looked like the initials that he and siblings had carved into the back dash of his car when she was a car. He inaudibly gasped. "Baby..." He whispered barely audibly. "Hey! Where are you taking her?!" He demanded of the sorceress.
She didn't need this now, she did not need this now. The sorceress rolled her eyes and huffed irritatedly. "Away with you!" She spun around to face the hunter, shouting in his ears and pushing him back without even touching him with a spell she'd learned as a child, one that was very affective on getting rid of any unwanted pests.
From the force of the spell, Dean flew backward almost five feet. "What the hell?!" He exclaimed as soon as his body hit the ground. He held his head as he slowly got up to his feet, his jeans now soaked from falling onto the wet ground. "Wait, wait..." The sorceress had already gotten into the limo, quickly shut the door and ordered the driver to drive off. "Wait!" The hunter had gotten to his feet as the limo was speeding away. "Wait! Get back here!" He ran after it until it was on the street and already speeding away toward the highway. "Baby!" He yelled out the endearing nickname that he'd given his car a long time ago as he slid to a halt at the edge of the parking lot; the occupants had all filed out of their motel rooms and a few men had started to follow the hunter. "No..." He felt as if he'd failed Baby, if that was his baby; his mind was telling him 'no way she's not a human again', but his heart was telling him 'believe your baby is a human'.
~Where's my car? What's happened to her? That woman must have been a witch or sorceress. I hate those kinds of people. Sorcerers, sorceresses, witches, warlocks, wizards; they're always hard to get rid of. She must be the same one from 2001, she has to be! That explained the older lady, but then, who was that other woman, the younger woman, the one who was screaming, the one who seemed to not know the sorceress and not want to go with her, the who called out my name, the one with my siblings' initials on her hip, my initials? Could that, could that be my- No! That's impossible! How could my car be human again? I was told she could never be human again, that I'd never see her again... Could the sorceress have turned her again somehow, could she have lied to me to try and make it easier for her to take my baby away? Could I have possibly just watched some lady take my humanized Impala away from me for the second time?~ A million thoughts ran through Dean's mind as he stood there, a statue of figurative stone, at the edge of the motel's parking lot; the rain falling on him, dripping from his clothes, his face, his hands; the rain hiding the tears he felt were sliding down his cheeks.
The limo drove for a very long time, to the outskirts of town; they ended up in front of a very medieval, very large castle. The driver shut off the engine and got out of the limo; he went around to the sorceress's side of the vehicle and opened the door for her. Magically, it wasn't raining anymore, a spell the sorceress had put over the castle that she owned. She stepped out of the vehicle and allowed the driver to deal with the unconscious woman in the backseat, who gently picked up the blond into his arms, holding her close to his chest. The driver stepped back to allow the sorceress to close the door after he'd gotten the woman into his arms; she closed the door and the two went to the front doors. She waved a hand and the guards opened the double doors for them. The two entered; the guards closed and locked the doors back. The sorceress led the way up the stairs and to a very large room with a king-sized bed all made up for a teenage girl with pinks and purples, light blues and light greens. "Now wake her up." The sorceress barked harshly at the driver as she closed the door behind them.
The driver took a moment to look down at the unconscious woman in his arms, not really wanting to wake her up, just wanting to let her sleep and to watch her sleep, but he was given an order and he was forced to obey. He laid her on the bed; he seemed to stare longingly at her for another moment before he took a syringe from the bedside table drawer and injected her with the dark liquid that was inside of it. Instantly, the blond bolted up, screaming as the cloak fell away and she subconsciously wrapped her arms around her torso. "Dean!" Her eyes wide with fear and pain; her heart aching and her body wanting the hunter's arms around her, holding her close to him and keeping her warm.
The sorceress gave an evil glare at the name the blond had spoken as the driver tore his hungry eyes from the beautiful woman on the bed, the one he'd fallen in love with the first time he saw her as a woman five years ago, to look to the sorceress, his evil mistress he didn't much like. "Leave us." The sorceress commanded the man angrily as the driver reluctantly, but obediently left the room with only a last long sorrowful look toward the blond on the bed.
Baby, as she remembered being called, screwed up her face, her hand on her throbbing head. "Ow." She said at the pain that flooded her head and cheek as she slid her hand down to her throbbing cheek. "Ow! Where am I?" She wondered out loud as she looked around the room. She saw the sorceress and immediately let out a shriek. "No! No, no, no! No!" She felt like her hunter failed her, even when she knew he couldn't help it.
"You are in my castle, in your own room. Be a good little girl and I'll let you stay here, if you be a bad girl, I'll put you in the dungeons." The sorceress answered bitterly, then indicated the very teenage modern looking clothes on the end of the bed. "There are clothes in your exact size there on the end of the bed you are sitting upon." She indicated a large bathroom, told Baby what everything was called in the bathroom, she told the blond what everything was for; the sink, the toilet, the shampoo and conditioner, and body wash in the shower, told her how to turn the shower on and off and how to flush the toilet, turn on the sink's faucet, everything, but the sorceress only told her, she didn't show the blond how to do everything. She just left her to conceal her privacy and find out what the hell went wrong with her spell; usually, her subjects were loyal and obedient, but this one was different and the sorceress was determined to find out why.
"Um... What-? Wait a minute...! O-Okay..." The blond stuttered out a reply as the sorceress closed the door behind her, not even paying attention to the fact that Baby was speaking to her at all. "Oh, Dean..." She sighed forlornly, missing Dean already. Baby glanced at the bathroom, then at the clothes. She made a mental note to remember everything that was said or done and everything that would be said and done, no matter what and remember in full-color detail; that way if she ever crossed paths with Dean, the hunter she knew she belonged to, again, she could tell him everything that happened. "Wait... Who am I? Why am I here? Where's Dean, I want Dean...! Ow, my head hurts..." She curiously and sadly rambled as she tried to stand up onto her feet, but she started to wobble and she fell to her knees onto the carpet. "Come on, Baby, you know how to walk, just remember." She tried to motivate herself to try. "Okay, okay, okay..." She tried to stand up again and this time she was able to take a few steps over to the end of the bed. She moved to grab the clothes that were laying on the end of the bed; there was a pair of black size 8 panties, a black 36C push-up bra, a silky black large spaghetti tank, a short-sleeved black large v-neck, a pair of size 16 leggings, a soft black cotton large shawl sweater and a size 16 skort (the type of bottoms that is a skirt with a pair of shorts attached underneath); she grabbed everything, but the shawl, for now, and the skort.
Quickly, Baby took the clothes into the bathroom and closed the door, finally feeling somewhat safe for the moment. "What am I going to do? How am I gonna get out of here?" She wondered out loud to herself, figuring that Dean wasn't going to be able to find here; she placed the clothes on the bathroom sink, sighing in the process. "I don't want to be here. I don't wanna be this woman. I wanna be with my owner, I wanna be with... Dean, I wanna be with him, I wanna be with Dean..." Baby began to cry, hiding her face in her hands for a moment. "I don't like it here, it's too weird, too scary. I desperately need Dean's guidance. I don't know what I'm supposed to do." She rambled to herself as she noticed a box on a shelf near the toilet, she tilted her head like a cat and moved to open the lid, a little unsure of how she knew what to do.
Inside the box were damp clothes called wipes, but she didn't know what the hell they were for, so she didn't bother them, just gently closed the lid back before turning toward the mirror. She looked at herself in the mirror, wondering how she was a car a few hours ago, but was now a different shape, a human, a woman, once again. She sighed once more as she started to get dressed into the clothes, the panties and bra first, then the leggings, then the tank and then went to grab the shirt, she looked at herself in the mirror one more time before she sighed once more and exited the bathroom. The blond re-entered the bedroom with the v-neck in her hands and glanced at the bed from the bathroom doorway. She merely nodded in acknowledgment of her own thoughts to put on the v-neck and then the shawl over it, she walked toward the end of the bed. She shrugged her shoulders and lifted her arms to put on the v-neck. She had just lifted her thin arms into the air with half of them inside the soft cloth when something or someone grabbed her from behind; an arm around her stomach securing her to a large chest and the other arm's fingers pulling her blond hair off the left side of her neck. The blond automatically screamed at the action and dropped the v-neck, but her mouth was covered by the hand that the fingers that had pulled her hair back. "Shh." A strange, deep voice shushed her.
The frightened woman was whimpering, but her whimpers were muffled by the hand covering her mouth. She was shaking her head; eyes wide with fear. "Shh, shh, shh. Quiet now." It was a man, the voice was low and rough. He spun her around, grabbed her by the upper arms and flung her onto the bed, perfectly onto the middle of the bed with her head on the pillows. The door had been closed and the strange man hadn't thought to turn on the lights, so only the moonlight seeped into the room through the curtains over the windows. He unzipped and unbuttoned his work pants, crawled onto the bed and straddled the struggling woman. He easily subdued her, he leaned down over her, his face hovering above her neck, then something sunk into the skin on the side of her neck, letting blood slowly stream down her neck and chest; her instant reaction: scream bloody murder and yelp in pain; everything went bright light white, then everything faded to pitch black as she lost consciousness.
5:05 AM, Morning
It seemed as if someone must have left the young blond on the large king sized bed because she woke up a few hours later on the bed with her head turned, her right cheek on a pillow. There was drying blood all over the left side of her neck and her chest, all over her mouth and down the side of her mouth, and there was dried blood between her legs, indicating that the man from earlier must have raped her and not just bit her and fed her his blood, but she didn't know what that was, yet, but she would find out soon enough.
With fuzzy vision, Baby reached up and felt the side of her neck; not only was their damp blood, but there were slightly jagged-edged holes there, two of them, side by side. The girl fought back the urge to scream again and the sudden urge to cry; she was semi-disoriented from the pain between her legs, but she was functional enough to get up and quickly put on the v-neck. She had felt cold, the shirt helped to conceal what little heat her body made. The blond also slipped her feet into her new black ballet flats that had been on the floor below the edge of the bed. The v-neck covered most of her chest and halfway up her neck, but not the bite mark or the blood at all. Then she remembered something and curiosity got the better of her, she cautiously went over to the bathroom door, her senses were coming back.
Once she'd checked to see if everything was still in order, she went back inside to stare into the mirror for a long time before opening the wipes lid and pulling out one, she watched herself in the mirror as she wiped the blood from her lips and her cheeks. She looked down at the bloody wipe before dropping it in the wastebasket between the sink and the toilet. Baby then took to staring at the very complicated make-up kit, she stared at the contents for the longest time and settled for just what was called lip gloss; she picked up one from the box. After staring at the tube and figuring out how to use the damn thing, she unscrewed the top and lifted it to her lips. She gently and slowly smeared the brush like thing with gloss on it over her full lips. The color was a rosy pink and it brought out her green eyes. She rubbed her lips together a moment and screwed the top back onto the tube and then placed the lip gloss back into the kit. Baby looked at herself in the now unfogged mirror and she couldn't help, but to feel good about not screwing up her first makeup session.
After she was absolutely certain she didn't want any more makeup on her face, Baby left the bathroom and went straight to the bed. She grabbed the messenger bag and looked inside. There was everything she would need, extra clothes, a brush, deodorant, everything. Although, to her, there was something missing. She lifted her head in the direction of the bathroom. She rushed into the bathroom, roughly opened the make-up kit and grabbed all of the lip glosses that were in there; ten different colors and 'flavors', and into the messenger bag they went. The blond left the bathroom again, placing the bag onto the bed, before moving to the door. She didn't know what to do, she thought she remembered the sorceress telling her about a button, and there was one. She stared at the button on the wall for the longest time before she lifted an arm and pressed a finger down onto it. There was music playing; music, she would later be told was a song called 'Mamma Mia' originally sung by an 80's group of singers who called themselves ABBA and then later it was adapted into a musical movie in 2008 that the particular song for the button was from.
In a flash, the door swung open and the blond staggered backward all the way to the bed, panting and falling on top of it. "You're awake?" The sorceress asked the blond with a motherly smile and with that motherly voice Baby was so sick of hearing already; she seemed to not notice the blood on Baby's neck or the holes the woman had felt earlier when she woke up.
"Y-Yes." Baby looked down at her left hand; the shawl and the messenger bag were there; the shawl plain and black, just like all of her other new clothes including her underwear. The messenger bag was grey in color and quite a dull shade. "Just gotta put this on." She held the shawl up as evidence.
The sorceress smiled. "Alright, dearie. Put on your shawl, grab your bag and let's go." She encouraged as the blond quickly put the shawl on, grabbed the messenger bag and jumped to her feet; Baby was amazed that she was learning humanly things all over again that quickly. The shawl covered her neck completely, the messenger bag fit perfectly on her shoulder. The sorceress turned and left the doorway; Baby didn't know anything else to do but to follow her.
8:10 AM, Morning
After a tour of the castle that had taken roughly three hours and they weren't even halfway through, Baby was beginning to feel hungry and she was starting to really miss her... Owner?: Dean Winchester. She remembered him, she knew she belonged to him, she used to be his car and she vaguely remembered their relationship from five years prior. He was the reason she fought so hard not to let the woman take her away, but unfortunately, she wasn't strong enough and the sorceress got away with her. He would be looking for her by then, the sun had already risen into the grayest sky you ever did see; he'd be awake by now. "Uh, excuse me?" The blond prompted the sorceress out loud.
The sorceress slowed her steps and fell silent. "Yes?" She prompted the blond right back.
"C-Can I go, home, n-now?" Baby asked timidly, she'd learned how to be quiet with her words somehow.
"What?" The sorceress looked perplexed; the blond was just as perplexed.
"C-Can I go home? To... To my, my companion? Who is back at that motel? Please...? I wanna go back to Dean." Baby asked once more, sounding a bit desperate.
The sorceress began to laugh to hide her disgust at the blond's desperation. "You want to go outside? Please, my dear, don't be silly. This is your home now." She smiled motherly.
Baby's insides did a full 360-degree flip-flop; this place was not her home, her home was wherever Dean was, he was her home now, whether it made sense or not, it made sense to her. She shook her head as tears began to pool in her eyes. "I wanna go home, I wanna go home to Dean! I wanna go home to Dean, now!" She cried sounding tearful and childlike.
The sorceress's face turned scary stern then. "You are never leaving this castle. Ever. So put it out of your mind." She told the blond in the meanest voice Baby had heard since she'd been turned into a human the second time; even meaner than the voice of the man who attacked her earlier.
The mean tone of voice frightened Baby so much that she bolted toward the front doors. She burst through them and started racing away from the castle as fast as her new legs could carry her. She had no sense of direction, but her heart was telling her where to go, her heart had the sense of direction she needed to get back to Dean. She heard the sorceress let loose a menacing screech as she left, but she didn't seem to follow the girl. Which Baby didn't care about that, she just cared about finding Dean, that's all she cared about, being with Dean. There were fierce winds that blew all around her, freezing her entire head and numbing her cheeks and ears, but after a moment, the blond could hear growling coming from the castle behind her. She kept running, but the growls were getting louder. There was man following her, the same one from earlier, he was a Werecat, Jaguar shifter and he was running in his human form behind Baby. She never stopped running, ever, her legs wouldn't let her stop.
Back at the motel, it was 9:00 AM, Dean Winchester had been awake all night, not able to fall back to sleep. He was in the motel room; he'd paced around for hours, muttering to himself. He was fully clothed now, sitting on the end of the bed, waiting for the stupid crooks to bring his car back, but there was that tiny part of him that still wanted to believe that what he had witnessed the night before, the abduction he'd witnessed was, in fact, his car being taken away from him, only in human form again, only as a blond woman; frustrated, he pushed those thoughts aside, all of them were way too ridiculous to believe, but his conflicted thoughts were interrupted by his phone vibrating the bedside table on the right side of the bed. Dean acknowledged his phone for the first time since he'd woken up; he wore a perplexed expression when he saw the screen shine on and that he had about a dozen messages from his brother, more by the minute. The hunter sighed deeply, leaned over the bed toward the nightstand and reached for the phone. He read all of the messages, ten to fifteen from Sam. The younger brother had found their sister and wanted to hook up with the eldest hunter; Cat was worried about him since the two hadn't seen each other or heard from each other in so long, and he hadn't message Sam in hours. Dean nodded his head at the messages, to himself, texted back, agreeing with Sam. It was time to meet up with Sam and Cat, and get going, but as soon as he went outside, he yelled in worried frustration. "What the hell?! My car is still missing?!" He growled turning toward the motel room as if for answers, then he turned back to where his car was supposed to be. "What the hell is going on here?" He growled lowly to himself. "I swear, if that was my car being taken away by the bitch sorceress, I'm gonna kill her." Dean muttered angrily to himself.
10:15 AM, Morning
After about an hour of running from the Jaguar shifter, Baby finally came to a motel that she strangely remembered from the night before. But of course, there was no Impala, because she was the Impala. And there, in front of motel room 317, was her hunter, but he wasn't so happy, in fact, he was furious! She'd never seen him that angry before, well not since she ran away during the time she was a human five years ago, but he was only angry, because he cared about her and was worried about her. Baby was happy to see him though; she rushed forward toward him as he turned to go back into the motel room. Halfway into the parking lot, though, she started to stagger from lack of balance, lack of oxygen and sudden disorientation as she ran toward him; the Jaguar shifter still racing after her. The hunter had his back to the parking lot and she needed him his face to her. "Help!" The blond cried out as she ran past cars and trucks.
The hunter heard her cry and turned to see her running toward him, he saw the Jaguar shifter behind her; he recognized the shifter's face and he wasn't too happy with seeing him running toward him or after the woman running toward him. "Oh, shit..." Dean must not have thought about the woman's reaction first for he pulled his .45 caliber pistol out when she got within yelling range from him. In Baby's mind, she thought that probably the only reason he did this was that he saw the blood all over her neck and chest and assumed the wrong thing, assumed she might have murdered someone, but in reality, Dean was pulling the gun out, because of the Jaguar shifter behind her.
Since her shawl had been opened due to the wind, her blood-soaked neck and most of her bloodied chest were visible to the hunter, but that action of his startled the poor woman and she staggered backward a couple steps, panting and gasping for air. "No! Please, Dean! It's me! Please don't shoot!" Baby cried out to him, surprising herself with her almost perfect vocabulary.
Dean kept the gun trained in her and the Jaguar shifter's direction, he seemed conflicted now, not sure what she was talking about, but his heart knew exactly what she was talking about and his heart was soaring at the moment. "Do I know you?" The hunter managed to demand of the blond he had his gun trained on as the Jaguar shifter came closer.
Baby started to cry again with tears streaming down her cheeks from the pools in her eyes; the fact that the hunter didn't recognize her in the slightest bit hurt her heart more than anyone could ever know and more than she ever thought possible or understood at that time. "Dean!" The blond cried out his name. "It's me, it's me, it's me..." She repeated the phrase over and over, the shifter was right behind her now. "Don't you know me?" She sounded like Murphy's wife in Robocop 2; this made the hunter stop, he'd played the movie before for... Her... When she was a brunette...? And he'd talked about it inside his Impala, too, he knew that for sure. "Don't you recognize me?" She tried again as she slowly came closer to him, missing the Jaguar shifter by inches. "Dean..." Taking another couple hesitant steps forward, Baby trailed at his name, unsure if she should call him by his first name. "Come on, Dean, it's me, Baby... Your Baby...?" Frowning deeply and shaking her head, the blond cried the magic words and the hunter's scowl relaxed into confused shock.
As if the entire universe had been put on pause, standing in the middle of the motel parking lot with a gun aimed at a young woman, Dean Winchester felt completely confused; he had never felt this confused in his entire life; his sister had made sure he was never completely confused. "Baby?" He questioned the name out loud, testing the name out on his tongue; the blond nodded her head vigorously with tears in her eyes and her mouth sputtering once. "My baby...?" The crease in his forehead deepened as his arms faltered and the gun dropped an inch, he was completely confused; she nodded her head vigorously again and took one more step closer. "But my baby is a car..." He shook his head; he was hallucinating, this couldn't be true. "And even if she was human, she'd be a brunette... And, and she's been a car for five years now..." He trailed looking away for a moment before looking back at the woman before; her eyes were exactly the same and her lips were exactly the same, the only thing that was different was her hair. "You can't be my baby... Can you...?" Dean didn't know what to think at this point.
The blond sniffled at him, that was her instant reply. "It is me, Dean. It's me, Baby. I swear it. I know I belong to a man named Dean Winchester and he has a brother named Sam and a sister named Cat. I was a car, I swear, but there was this strange woman and she turned me human and she made me a blond and she took me away... I didn't wanna go, I wanted to stay with you, I wanted to be with you, I swear. Please, believe me..." She trailed sobbing, completely amazed at how well she was speaking the human language.
Dean shook his head at her once more; he wanted to believe her, desperately, oh so desperately, but it was hard and it just didn't feel right to him at that very moment, it would in time if he really thought about it. "No! That's impossible! Someone stole my car! Some asshole stole my freaking car!" He growled angrily; he still had the gun trained on the two figures before him, that never changed. Dean turned away from the scene, his heart telling him he was an idiot for not believing her instantly and his gut telling him he was right to question, but not right for not pulling the damn trigger and shooting the Jaguar shifter behind the woman who cried for him.
The Jaguar shifter was right behind the blond now; she wasn't paying attention, too busy crying and staring at Dean to notice; the Jaguar shifter grabbed Baby from behind with one arm wrapping around her middle to secure her to his broad chest once more and the other wrapped around her chest once again, that hand on her throat and he wasn't holding her throat gently this time, he'd leave marks that would show up later. "Now, I've got you, you little bitch!" The Jaguar shifter exclaimed triumphantly.
Instantly, Baby shrieked on contact. "Aaaah-!" Her full scream was cut off by the Jaguar shifter's hand closing around her throat. "N-N-No-o-o...!" She squirmed in the shifter's arms, trying to escape his grasp so she could run to the hunter before her and hide behind him. "Let me go, let me go...!" She cried softly, losing her breath due to the Jaguar shifter's hand closing around her throat.
The Jaguar shifter chuckled gently against her ear, the left side of his face pressed up against the right side of her face. "Tsk, tsk, tsk. Sorry, girlie, but you're mine now." He laughed at her squealing and tightened his grip on her throat. "Stop squirming, bitch." The shifter growled at her menacingly.
"N-No! I-I belong to him! Let me go, s-s-stop, let me g-go! Noooo!" The blond squealed and squirmed in the Jaguar shifter's grasp, struggling against the man's arms and struggling to breathe. "D-Dean!" She called for her hunter, called out his name in a choked scream.
At the woman's voice calling out his name, Dean vigorously shook his head and snapped back into reality, turning to see the brutal scene before him; his mouth drop an inch, before his expression turned to a glare directed at the Jaguar shifter. "Hey! Get your damn hands off her! She said 'no'!" Sounding much like Robert John Burke in Robocop 3, the hunter aimed the tip of his pistol for the Jaguar shifter's head.
For the first time since he got to the motel parking lot, the Jaguar shifter peered up at the figure in front of him and the blond, peered into the eyes of the hunter with the gun; something sparked in the Jaguar shifter's eyes, that something was recognition of the angry hunter. "Oh, shit." He muttered to himself as he instantly let go of the woman in his arms, and bolted across the parking lot and out onto the street; his hands had gotten caught on her messenger bag and it was ripped off of her body as he was running away.
Baby fell to the ground hard, groaning in pain, her shirts and shawl riding up, exposing her ribs and hips as Dean fired his gun, trying to hit the fleeing man, but he missed for the Jaguar shifter was already out of shooting range by the time he starting firing his gun, so thus the hunter was just wasting bullets now. He stopped firing and put his pistol back into his jacket; he stood there a moment, staring at the road where the shifter had escaped onto, he was thinking intensely. Baby could something poking her side, she lifted her torso and looked down at the ground; there, beneath her body, were the toys she'd found the night before, all of them were still there to her surprise. The five crunched Army men, the three half-melted Lego pieces and the Barbie Doll that looked familiar, looked like Catherine Winchester. Baby struggled to grab her messenger bag, she picked up the Army men and dropped them in her bag, doing the same to the three Lego pieces and the Cat Barbie Doll look-alike. The blond smiled sweetly, but her ankle began to throb and she started to cry softly; the hunter turned his attention downward, to the blond on the ground. He'd heard her soft cries and he could see that she was clutching onto her ankle. He took a deep breath before moving toward her body, cautiously, unsure of her reaction.
For a moment, Dean was completely speechless, wondering how a very attractive and very familiar looking woman knew his name, knew of his siblings, knew of his car being missing and what he called his car, knew about the incident last night, knew about a lot of things that he found impossible for anyone other than himself would know. "Are you alright, there, miss?" Using general words he asked her if she was alright, not able to help noticing three sets of light scars just above her right hip, the third halfway covered by her panties. These three little, three insignificant scars, caught his eye for the second time; he just knew there was something familiar about them, he could just make out the letters they spelled and he remembered from glancing them the night before that they were one reason he wanted to believe her when she said she was his baby.
The blond lifted her head, seeing the hunter kneel down beside her; her heart began to pound, she realized that this was what happened the last time she was human, her heart always pounded crazily when she was around him, but for the life of her, she couldn't remember what that meant, but she would, in time. "No..." Finally, she replied to the hunter's question, in a very soft voice. "I don't really know where I am, but..." All that she knew for sure was she was just chased by a weird man, ran away from a strange woman who wanted to keep her, she used to be a car, belonged to a man named Dean Winchester and that that man had a younger brother named Sam and a younger sister named Cat. "A-All I know for sure is I used to be a car, I belong to a man named Dean Winchester and he has a, a, a, br-brother named Sam and a, a s-s-s-sister named Cat. I just ran away from a strange woman who told me I wasn't supposed to leave her castle, chased by a crazy man who attacked me, I'm covered in this red stuff I think is called blood and I'm scared out of my mind..." Baby quietly admitted as she tried to sit up onto her hip, tears streaming down her cheeks.
Dean's mouth dropped even more than it had before. ~Is this woman, my car, my baby, only blond and more beautiful than ever before?~ He wondered to himself as he gave the girl a soft smile. "Come on, sweetheart. Let's get you out of the cold and inside where it's warm." He stood up and then held his hands out to her indicating that he was going to help her up. ~Once I get her inside, and get her washed up, I'll ask her some questions of my own.~ The hunter thought to himself about what he'd have to do to help her and then what he'd do after he'd help her, so she could help him.
The blond was skittish at first, not able to comprehend what he was telling her, not until he motioned toward the motel he'd been staying in and held his hands out to her, offering her his hands as help to stand. She tried to get up, very wobbly at first, almost falling over. Dean couldn't suppress a chuckle as he moved closer to take her by the upper arms. "Here, I'll help you." He told her as he lifted her up to her feet and grabbed the discarded messenger bag, he noticed that the scars were the exact same scrawls of initials belonging to him, and his brother and sister ; she was quite confused and almost pushed him away, but when he got her to her feet and put an arm around her, she didn't feel as scared anymore.
Baby moved to wrap her arms around his torso and hide her face in the place where his chest met his shoulder. "Dean..." She held him tightly, for dear life; she was still scared and didn't know what to do; in those five years, she'd just about forgotten what it was like to be human, she was already used to being a car again. "I'm scared..." She admitted into his shirt as her fingers took his clothes into a tight clutch; her right hand on his back, clutching his jacket and her left hand on his chest, holding his shirt.
Dean glanced down at her, his arms off to the side of her; he'd realized that she felt exactly the same as he had five years ago. After a moment, his arms came down around her and enveloped her into a tight embrace; he didn't say a word, just held her for a long moment. He was starting to believe the eerie feeling he had that he might actually be staring at the machine he once believed to be missing. He didn't really know exactly what to think at that moment, but he knew that some sort of magic had to be involved and he felt in his heart that it was sorcery. "God, I hate magic." He muttered to himself as he unwrapped his arms from around to pulled her jeans up on her hips and lower her tank, her shirt and her shawl down over her hips and jeans. Then, once again, his arms wrapped around her in an almost loving embrace; he guided her to his motel room, realizing that the Jaguar shifter must have dropped her hard and that her ankle was bruised.
The hunter helped her inside and to the bed where she then fell on top of into a sitting position. With a small grin, Dean placed the bag on the bed behind her before moving in front of her and crouching down at her shins where he could look up at her face, his own changing in expression from sweet to serious. "I'm Dean." He pointed to his chest; her heart jumped, mentally startling her. "Dean Winchester." He didn't move away from her, only tapping his chest for emphasis and staring at her face as he noticed the dried blood that had seeped through her leggings. He grimaced slightly, realizing that she must have been raped, very recently it seemed. This didn't sit well with him and he mentally made a note to find that Jaguar shifter and have his head removed, but he didn't say a word.
The blond looked down at him with sad eyes. "Dean...?" Baby whimpered his name curiously.
"Yes. It's me, that's my name, I'm Dean." He gently placed his hands on her ribs, smoothing his thumbs over her clothes.
"You-You're Dean...?" She was still questioning this as if she was shocked, her eyes wide and still scared of the things that had happened to her since she was turned into a human the second time. "I-I belong to you...!" She exclaimed softly as she quickly moved toward him, sliding off the bed and into his lap, arms instantly wrapping around his neck and her face instantly hiding in his collarbone.
Dean smirked when she fell onto his lap, wrapped her arms around him and placed her face in his collarbone; he just pulled her to his chest and held her close to him. "Well, if you are my car like I most definitely think you are, then I guess you do belong to me." Dean replied to her statement, his tone a bit timid and a nervous chuckle escaped his lips as she began to shake violently in his arms. "Hey, hey, hey, it's okay, it's okay, I'm here." He felt her start to shake more and tightened his arms around her, holding her even closer to him. "It's alright. It's alright, Baby" He soothed her, saying his endearing nickname for his car, that he was almost positive was sitting in his lap. Dean instinctively gave her head a kiss, much like Ripley had in Aliens when she promised Newt, at the sweet naptime scene, that she wouldn't leave her on LV-426. "You're safe now, Baby. I won't let anything happen to you." He added trying to soothe her more to get her to stop shaking at least, that's really all he wanted for her to stop shaking at the very least.
Soon, the shaking slowly stopped and the hunter smiled happily, he lifted her up easily, standing and placing her down on the end of the bed, like a parent would with their child; the action looked much like Sully and Boo in Monsters Inc. when Sully sat her down on her bed at the end when he was finally able to take her home. Dean stood up and moved away from her toward the bathroom. "Wait..." She didn't want him to leave her alone; her arms shooting out toward him as if that was what it would take to make him come back to her, but before she knew it, he'd reappeared a few minutes later; water running in the bathroom. She was still shivering like a shaking leave in the wind from being in the cold night air and the cold morning air and she would soon be sick if he didn't help her get warm, he also needed to wash the blood from her body and wash her clothes.
"I'm gonna give you a nice warm bath to warm you up and get that blood off you." He spoke softly, quite abnormally for him, his siblings would have pointed that out right off the bat if they were there; he mentally felt responsible for all of this happening to her, but then he remembered he was asleep when she was turned into a human if this was indeed his car, once again, transformed into a human.
"B-Bath...?" Baby furrowed her brow and cocked her head to the side like a cat; she'd never heard of a bath, a shower yes, but a bath, what was a bath?
"I'll show you in a minute." Dean told her as he pulled a flannel and a pair of boxers from his travel bag, coming toward her once more; he'd apparently not thought to look in her messenger bag and she didn't even remember she had one. Her face was still curious as she looked to the clothes and he took that as if she was confused at the clothes and of why he was giving her men's clothing. "It ain't much, but at least you won't be naked and cold while I wash your clothes." He handed her the clothes and gently took off her flats, sitting them by the corner of the end of the motel bed.
Not knowing what else to do, Baby held the clothes up to her chest and never removed them, they were Dean's and she just wanted to hold them to her heart forever. This was quite strange to her, even when she'd been human before, but that was five years ago. "Wh-What am I-I supposed to, to do...?" She asked out loud as she just sat there. The sorceress never showed her how to do these kinds of humanly things and she couldn't remember a lot of them from her previous session of being human, but one thing was for certain this time she really needed a dictionary to read and badly.
Dean bunched his lips to one side of his face, realizing he was going to have to show her everything; he was beginning to really believe that this woman was his car turned human again more and more. The hunter moved toward her, she barely even flinched this time, she just looked up at him as he scooped her up into his arms. She wrapped her arms around his neck, hiding her face in his collarbone again, his clothes now between their chests. "You have no idea what I'm talking about, do you." He muttered to himself, not really speaking to her as he carried her to the bathroom.
Baby looked up at him with confusion in her eyes as he stepped into the bathroom with her in his arms. He gently sat her down onto her feet, waiting until she had balance, but unfortunately, she dropped his clothes. He caught them before they could fall to the ground and he moved away only to set them onto the lowered toilet lid and turn off the water before it overflowed onto the floor at her feet. Then, he came back to her, her eyes traveling up from his boots to his eyes, he gestured at her clothes. "I'm gonna have to undress you, so you can get into the tub behind you, okay?" He was asking for her permission and she appreciated that he asked her first and that he was going to show her what everything was for, instead of telling her and leaving her to fend for herself.
The woman slowly nodded her head. "Okay." She murmured as Dean exhaled and he slowly took off her shawl, dropping it on the floor by the door. Next, he took her wrists and pulled her arms up to take off her v-neck and tank, then dropping them on top of her shawl. Then, he moved to take her leggings off. This almost took away her balance, but she immediately grabbed a hold of his shoulders for support. As soon as the leggings were off of her, he dropped them onto the tops. He awkwardly moved to unclip her bra, tossing it over toward the other clothes, then took off her panties, doing the same with them. The blond shivered as the hunter extended a hand to her to help her into the tub behind her, which she was content with staring at like it was evil.
"It's just water, nothing bad, I promise. It'll make you feel better." He pointed to the clear, steaming liquid behind her. "Sit in it. It will make you feel better. I'll help you." He told her.
The blond was completely confused with all this. "Uh..." She was about to say 'what', but thought better of it, instead she obeyed his simple demand and let him help her into the tub. It was strange to her, but only at first, until she realized that the hunter was right. Although her face muscles weren't working properly for some strange reason, so she wasn't able to show him that she knew he was right, her face as blank as a piece of white printer paper; her body seemed to warm up and she stopped shivering.
As soon as he'd gotten her seated in the tub, Dean poured some of the body wash his brother had onto a washcloth and then took to rubbing tiny circles across her back with the cloth on his hand. White, soapy bubbles covered her exposed skin. To him, it was strange to be washing his car in a bathtub, much less in human form, since the last time she was human, he'd never given her bath, his sister had helped her take a shower, so he'd never actually been in the bathroom with her when she was washing up before. He moved to do the same to her chest and neck, washing the blood right off, then he went back to washing her back.
If the hunter thought that this was strange for him, it was ten times as strange for the blond. Baby twitched at every his touch and all of his movements, two different feelings were running wild through her. She looked up at him, her expression clearly saying, 'what are you doing to me?' and 'what's that stuff on my skin?' Her heart was pounding. like crazy.
The hunter noticed her expression, reading her face. "It's just soap." He assured her, smiling. "Nothing that will harm you." He assured her more when she frowned at him. "Just so I can stop wondering, what's your name?" He asked of her, thinking it was quite stupid to just assume that this woman was his car, much less ask her the question of if it was true or not, even when she had said she was his car. He finished washing her back, giving her the cloth and instructing her to repeat what he'd done to her back all over her body.
The blond immediately gave him a weird, confused sort of look, but kind of started doing the same to her arm to start off with as she thought about his simple question. "I-I don't really know my name... I, I think my name is 'Baby' like I told you earlier... I think, but I'm not entirely sure. I guess I don't have a name, no one's told me yet, so... Baby. That's my name." She questioned this a bit too, she was going to question most everything for a while. "Yeah, Baby, and I am your car. I know that part for sure. Unless you didn't have a black 1967 Chevrolet Impala for a car." Baby was quite confident about that part.
The realization of the fact that he was right about her being his car only with blond hair all along made him smile sweetly at her. "So you are my car turned human again." Dean chuckled, a light sound that filled the blond's ears and her heart was then filled with immense joy.
"Uh, yeah. Considering the fact that I felt like Kyle Reese again last night when I magically transformed into a human." Baby shrugged her shoulders as she started washing her other arm.
"Kyle Reese, huh." He chuckled once more at the character reference from the Terminator franchise. "Okay, Baby, you're doing great. Just keep doing that same thing all over your body." He sat back on the floor, leaning all his weight on his arms, palms flat on the floor, watching her in case she needed any further assistance.
The woman was still a little confused, but she automatically obeyed the hunter until she found those scars on her right hip. She lifted her body an inch, to see better, pausing and staring at them, intensely, yet thoughtfully. Something about them seemed very familiar to her, but she just couldn't for the life of her remember why. "Um, Dean..." Baby prompted the hunter beside her as he leaned forward once more. "What's that?" She pointed at the scars on her hip and gave him a confused look.
As soon as he could see the scars, Dean gave another light chuckle. "Those would be initials. Mine, Sam's and Cat's. That were carved into the back dash." He smiled thoughtfully at the memory, then he frowned realizing that it might've hurt her when they carved into her car exterior. "I'm sorry if it hurt you when we did that. We were young and we never stopped to think that my car would ever become human one day, much less twice." He moved a strand of golden hair from her light pink cheek as he spoke, he remembered they'd spoken in depth about this, but he wasn't so sure she remembered the conversation they'd had.
Baby furrowed her brow. "Initials?" Then it hit her and she remembered the conversation they'd had, it was actually their first real conversation that didn't involve grunting and crying. "Oh! I remember now." She glanced down at the scars, which was what made her wet hair fall onto her face in the first place. "What do you mean 'hurt me'? You'd never hurt me..." She wondered once more as she looked back up at Dean while he moved the hair back from her face. "What did you do?" Now she questioned his sweet action to her hair, her green eyes sparkling with curiosity.
"Yeah. Initials. We'd spoken about them for a long time, the last time you were human." Dean said fondly, remembering everything that had happened within those few months. "Of course, I'd never hurt you, but I just thought that maybe when we carved the initials into your exterior, that it might've hurt you. I never apologized the last time you were human..." The hunter spoke softly as he reached a finger into the lukewarm water and began to trace the scars. "C.W. Cat Winchester, my sister." He traced his sister's first, then his brother's initials next. "S.W. Sam Winchester, my brother." Lastly, he lightly traced his initials. "D.W. Dean Winchester, me." He indicated himself with his dry hand; he knew now that she remembered what the initials meant, but he still explained, more to himself than her. "We'd carved them into the wood with a knife... A very sharp object." He noticed her curiosity peak at the word 'knife' and decided to explain before she asked him what it was. "The knife is what got me thinking that it might've hurt you, because it's such a sharp object." Dean said softly.
At his touch on one of the most sensitive parts of her body, Baby jerked slightly, splashing a few droplets of water onto the floor by the hunter's knees. "Whoops. Sorry." She instantly said, but the shiver of hers when he touched her was quite surprising to her, she didn't remember how it felt for him to touch her in human form. "Huh..." Was all she could muster to say since she couldn't breathe with her heart racing so fast, although she could not for the life of her remember what that feeling was called, yet.
Dean chuckled lightly once more, his hand still in the water, his fingers lightly touching her hip. "It's okay, Baby. It's just water. It won't do anything except make the floor wet." He shrugged off her apology, not really caring about the water. "You ready for me to wash your hair?" He asked her as he removed his hand from the tub and thus her side reaching for a cup to fill it with the warm liquid preparing to help her with her hair.
Baby's heart was still racing, but she was able to nod her head in reply. "Okay." She sounded so much like a little girl; he smiled at her sweetly.
The man leaned the woman's head back as he emptied the contents of the cup over her long golden strands of hair. Dean smirked as he grabbed Sam's fancy shampoo. It didn't take that long to wash and condition Baby's hair and he didn't mind doing it, her expressions were amusing and reminded him of Ariel from The Little Mermaid when she was taking her first bath as a human (his little sister made him watch every single Disney movie with their little brother when they were kids over and over and over again, so he knew almost every single one like the back of his hand) which frightened him more often than not.
When the hunter was sure he'd gotten all of the conditioning soap out of her golden locks, he stood with a towel, waiting patiently for her to get out of the tub. Baby tentatively stood up and stepped over the edge of the tub, immediately shivering. She tried to step into the towel, but instead tripped over her new feet and knocked right into Dean's chest, squeaking like a mouse as her face landed on his collarbone. Instantly, Dean's arms went out to catch her and then he quickly checked her eye when he felt her hit his collarbone. "Careful there, Baby. Don't wanna scratch that pretty exterior of yours." He helped her to stand properly before wrapping the towel around her.
Her shivers became violent from both the cool air and the thing that Baby couldn't for the life of her remember yet. Her small hands clutched onto his biceps, intensely and hard; her green eyes sparkling at him. Dean moved his hands over her body inside the towel over her skin to warm her and dry her body of water. He helped her to put on the clothes he had given her; each sleek flesh covered leg into each boxer brief leg, each thin flesh covered arm into each long sleeve flannel arm, buttoning the shirt from her waist up to her chest. Dean couldn't help himself when he came to her chest, starting to stare at the skin where her sternum was and he couldn't help, but to think of sensually kissing the skin on her sternum. Mentally shaking his head to shake the thought away, Dean buttoned his shirt up to the button just above her breasts, covering them where he couldn't see them. "We'll go shopping in the morning. Get you some more girly things." He said as he bent and grabbed her dirty clothes, then took to helping the clumsy blond out of the bathroom and to the bed, thus helping her to find her balance and learn how to control it.
Baby didn't really know what he was talking about, but she didn't really care either, she just wanted to be with him and she knew she would be safe with him. "Okay." Was all she said in reply to his statement.
When he brought her to the bed and tried to sit her down, she shook her head at him and attached herself to him, making him loosen his fingers and drop her clothes to the floor. "No!" Again with the little girl voice as she wrapped her arms around his right arm.
"Something wrong?" The Winchester looked confused with her actions. He took to replaying his actions in his mind, trying to figure out exactly what he had done wrong, but it seemed there was nothing and he couldn't think of anything; Baby just shook her head again, not speaking, just holding onto him tightly and her eyes closed just as tightly. Dean held her in return, not know what else to do to soothe her. "Are you afraid I'm going to leave you?" He asked her tenderly, so tenderly; he did not like his baby being frightened, not one little bit.
Maybe she did and maybe she didn't, she didn't know much about how or what she was feeling or how to even describe them just yet. The memories of their relationship from five years before was still a little fuzzy and her brain hadn't yet refreshed those data files inside her mind. She was just waiting for her brain to refresh those files, but it seemed as if it was taking forever to reload. Baby lifted her shoulders in what Dean would know as a shrug.
The hunter smoothed the woman's hair with one slightly calloused hand, fingers running through the blond locks. "I'm not going anywhere, Baby." He told her as he pried her from his arm. "I'm just going to go down to the coin-operated washers and dryers to wash and dry your clothes, so you have them for later. Okay?" He held her where she could his face and he could lean down into her face to look her directly in the eyes.
"Don't leave me, please..." She didn't want to be alone, she was afraid of being alone. "I don't wanna be alone..."
"I'm not gonna leave you, I'll be right back. I just have to wash your clothes, that's all." Dean assured her.
"But, I don't want you to go..." Baby whimpered looking up at him with her sad green eyes.
Dean grimaced forlornly, her sad eyes were getting to him. "I promise I'll be back. I promise. I'll lock the door behind me, wash and dry your clothes and then I'll be back before you know it. That's a promise." He told her.
"You, promise..." She repeated the word he'd used.
"I promise, cross my heart." He told her sincerely as she embraced him, her face in his collarbone; he held her close and gave her another Ripley head kiss before pulling away and sitting her down on the end of the bed. "Stay right here and I promise I'll come walking through that door when I'm done with your clothes. Okay?" He held her cheeks in his palms, his fingers on her ears, forcing her to look him in the eyes.
Baby sadly began to nod her head, a tear falling from her left eye. Dean wiped the tear from her cheek and kissed her forehead before moving to grab his duffle, stuffing the clothes and the necessary laundry items inside, so no one would question him. He quickly moved to the door as Baby stood up; he was out of the door and locking it by the time Baby's brain told her to take a step. She rushed to the door, trying to open it, but it wouldn't open and she didn't even try to unlock it. Waiting outside the door to make sure she didn't teach herself how to unlock the door, Dean let out a long, deep sigh of breath and went to the laundry room to wash and dry her clothes. Baby moved to sit back on the bed, staring at everything with curiosity.
1:32 PM, Afternoon
After an hour and a half, Dean came back as promised, unlocking the motel room door and coming back in, closing and locking the door behind him. "Baby?" He called out as he was locking the door. "I'm back with your clothes. Do you wanna change into them now? Or do you wanna change into them later?" He asked out loud.
Baby was by his side in a matter of seconds, arms enveloping him into an embrace. "Dean!" She shouted his name joyfully, she'd missed him.
"Whoa! Hey, there." He was quite surprised, but wrapped an arm around her, guiding her back to the bed, tossing his duffle to the side and holding her for a moment before gently pushing her away toward the bed and moving to grab the remote.
"What are you doing?" Baby asked him curiously.
"Grabbing the remote so you can watch TV if you want." Dean plainly replied to her.
"You're not gonna leave me by myself again, are you?" Baby asked of him, worry laced her voice.
~Oh no! Not that cute little girl voice that I'm falling in love with all over again...~ Dean cringed a moment. "I'm just going back to the bathroom to take a quick shower, okay..." He trailed at her sad expression. "You want to sit in there with me?" After all, he had just seen her naked like three hours earlier, he didn't see the point in not returning the favor. Baby just shrugged her shoulders once more, darting to her feet and grabbing onto his shirt with her hands. Dean nodded his head toward the bathroom. "Come on, Baby. I'll even leave the curtain open." Wrapping an arm around her small waist, he led her back to the bathroom. Baby obeyed, not knowing what the hell was going on, but she didn't mind it one bit. After all, he did see her nude and she didn't want him to leave her all alone.
Once inside the bathroom, Dean sat Baby on the floor by the tub and she sat obediently with her knees lifted up to her chest and her arms wrapped around them. Unbuttoning his shirt, he slipped it from his shoulders; his jeans and boxers next. Reaching over to adjust the flow and temp of the water, he stepped into the soothing stream of hot water.
Baby waited. She was almost like a two-year-old child, you can't keep your eyes off her or she would end up getting hurt or start crying.
Dean kept his eyes trained on the woman as he washed up, taking in every curve of her body, learning every inch of her without touching her, all over again and it felt like the first time. With the way the light reflected off her now long blond hair, the way her jade green eyes glittered in the fluorescent glow, he was having a hard time not falling in love with her again. She was beautiful, even more beautiful than she was a brunette, but he had always found her beautiful.
Unbeknownst to Baby, Dean's eyes were, in fact, traveling over her body and she barely even picked up on it until her body started to overheat. She shook her head, wondering what was wrong with her, but she didn't dare say a word to Dean. Out of fear? Possibly. Embarrassment? Well, that was possible too.
Dean finished up as he reached for the towel, slinging it low across his hips and shaking the water from his hair like a dog. He lowered his hand to help her up once more, tucking her close to his side. She was just getting so much attention that she absolutely had no idea what to expect, but she loved it. "Whoa!" She exclaimed as Dean helped her up. The feel of his bare skin against her cheek felt hot, but she didn't mind one bit.
"So what do we do now? I mean, since going to bed is clearly out of the question." The two walked back to the main room, it was only 3:00 in the afternoon, going to bed wasn't exactly an option, unless she was tired.
Baby was confused again, but then again when has she not and when will she ever stop being so confused? She found that being transformed into a human, and then back to a car, and then back into a human again, made things much harder on her. "What?" She finally broke her silent rule of not using the word 'what'. Oh well, she had to this time. Nothing else would have work, well nothing else that she knew anyway.
"Do you wanna watch TV? Listen to music?" Dean looked down at her. "Or do you want to just stand here all night?"
She doesn't know what all that is, so Baby just looked up at him with an eyebrow lifted. "What do you mean?" She had no idea what she was doing with her eyebrows, but she'd learn eventually.
Dean picked up the remote to the TV that he'd left on the bed for her use while he was dealing with her clothes and pressed the power button. A cheesy eighties movie glowed to life on the screen. "That's a TV. You watch it, with your eyes." Dean flipped the channel to a classic rock music station. "This is music." He watched her facial expressions to see which got the bigger reaction.
Baby turned to look at the box that magically turned on when Dean pressed a button on the small device he held in his hand. Her eyes lit up when the movie appeared and then she jumped when he turned the channel to music. "How did you do that?" She wondered as she stared at the glowing box in front of them. She was learning, just at a very slow pace.
Dean held up the little, plastic device with buttons on it. "This is called a remote." He handed it to her so she could see it closer. "Go ahead. Press a button and see what happens." Dean thought it was so sweet that he had to show her things he thought were so mundane, her delight had him smiling from ear to ear; although he had to wonder why she didn't remember any of this from the first time she was human.
Baby tentatively took the remote, as Dean called it, and looked at it. She held it like a poisonous reptile that was about to bite her face off; it was a cute sight, in all aspects and that was exactly what Dean thought of the whole situation. "Uh..." Baby still had to be taught what each button was used for.
Dean nodded his head more to himself than to her. "This button turns the channel." He pressed it once, the soft rock Music Choice channel played. "This one is for volume." He indicated another button. He kept an arm wrapped around her as he stood in the towel; the cool air raising bumps along his arm. She was standing in front of him, his chin was hovering just above her shoulder, his breath on her neck, moving her hair.
Resisting the urge to shiver, Baby learned what each button was for and tried the first number that came to mind. 53, SyFy. A stupid shark movie was featured.
Dean laughed, knowing the channel well for its bad monster movie making. "SyFy, huh. Okay." He was still laughing softly.
After a moment of intently staring at the sharks with confusion, Baby couldn't keep her question inside. "What are those?" Baby asked and looked at him, turning her head, the back of it toward her unoccupied shoulder and her face toward Dean's; she was pointing at the sharks on the TV.
"Those are badly animated sharks. Sharks are a meat-eating type of fish. I'll get you a book about'em later." Dean chuckled lightly, feeling as if he was teaching a child, but a very good child.
"Oh." Was all Baby could say, she didn't really like watching this movie; she showed this by examining the remote intently.
"Jaws is a better shark movie, if you wanna watch shark movies, that is." Dean commented while absentmindedly wrapping his arms around her middle and placing his hands on her lower stomach, his fingertips just above her waistline.
"Oh, okay... Do you know where that movie is?" She asked in her little girl voice.
Dean laughed softly. "I'll find it for you some time, let you watch it." He told her since he didn't have it there with them and he didn't think it would be on cable since it wasn't on the SyFy channel.
Baby tilted her head toward his again. "Will you, watch it, with me?" She asked slowly, trying to make sure she was saying the right words.
He gave her a sweet smile. "Yeah. I will." Instantly the thought of her sitting on his lap or laying her head on his chest while watching a scary movie popped into his head.
She smiled back at him as she turned her head back to the remote in her hands. She thought of another number and pressed the numbered buttons accordingly. Her second channel choice was 61, Spike and at the moment they were featuring Star Wars Episode 6 Return of the Jedi. Baby's eyes lit up as soon as she saw the Ewoks since the movie had been running for about an hour and a half by now. Her expression was that of a cute little girl's who had grown up with Ewoks her whole life.
The hunter grinned as her eyes became alight with joy. "Star Wars it is, then." He removed his arms from around her and moved her to sit on the bed. "I'm just gonna put on some clothes real quick." He assured her as he stood beside her, still able to reach his bag as he pulled out a pair of boxer briefs, slipping them on before dropping the towel. He took a seat beside her, grabbing the bottle of beer he had been drinking the night before the incident last night.
Baby barely paid attention to the object in Dean's hand, much less him at the moment. She was too busy watching the Ewoks tripping an AT-AT walker and stormtroopers and Imperial officers running around while Han and Leia were trying to get the bunker door open as R2 and 3PO argued off in the bushes and while Chewie and two Ewoks hijacked a AT-AT Walker; her wide green eyes glued to the TV, unable to keep from staring. "Those little things are so adorable! And that really tall furry thing is so cute!" She wanted to squeal, but the sound never made it past her throat, she was too busy trying to breathe.
The man chuckled at her as he sipped the brown mead. His green eyes watching her instead of the screen. He had always thought his car a thing of beauty and he'd fallen in love with her once when she had brown hair, so why did it surprise him so much that she was just as gorgeous as a blond? The golden locks, jade green eyes, and full plush lips had him captivated, had since he first laid eyes on her. The feeling that he was falling for her all over again was very prominent inside his mind, never leaving him alone. The thought that he was able to fall in love with her again made him realize he was being given a second chance, a second chance to fall in love with her deeper than he had before and a chance to keep her safe, rather than lose her again, like he had the last time, even though he still had her in car form.
Baby was so happy with the channel change, with the movie that was now on the screen! Until a commercial break happened right as it was about to switch to Luke with Vader and the Emperor. She blinked, only slightly affected. "Uh, Dean, what did it do?" Her voice was steady with only a hint of confusion like she was curious, but she wasn't freaking out about the change.
"Oh, it's nothing." He assured her. "Just a commercial. The movie will come back on in a second." He pulled his eyes back to the TV feeling it a little strange to be simply staring at the woman. Most would find it creepy, especially from a man like him. He capped his beer, sat it down on the floor and let his back hit the mattress, relaxing into the soft material. His feet still flat on the floor. Motel beds were never long enough for his towering frame, but he was used to it; it was the same for his brother as well.
Baby screwed up her face into the pouty little girl face complete with the pouty lips. "Okay." She seemed to sigh, she wanted to see more of those Ewoks she liked so much just because she thought they were cute, like all little girls who'd watched Star Wars, she wanted a little furry Ewok of her own, but she figured that the Ewoks were a creature special to the movie. She scooted herself backward and turned slightly, lifting one leg up onto the bed. "What are they called?" She didn't get to see the first half of the movie, but the channel had said they were going to reply the prequel trilogy from The Phantom Menace and then play the original trilogy from A New Hope, so she'd find out later, if Dean let her of course, but she just wanted to know right now and she also wanted Dean to talk again, she liked it when he spoke, she liked the sound of his voice.
Dean turned his head to look up at Baby. Blond locks falling over her shoulder gave him the urge to remove them again. "Ewoks." He answered her question. "And the tall one is called a Wookiee, his name is Chewie if you didn't catch that." His eyes were running the length of her curves once more, he absentmindedly licked his lips.
"Oh." She turned her head to look at the TV, the movie came back on, but the Ewoks weren't on the screen anymore, Luke Skywalker was now. A soft gasp escaped her lips, barely audible. "Who's that?" She asked a bit lovestruck, but not drastically so; her eyes a little wider than they had been a few seconds before, blinking a few times, like she had a small crush on him.
Dean raised his head to see the TV before letting it fall back to the mattress again, his eyes rolling and then closing. "Luke Skywalker. He's a Jedi." He sighed, opening his eyes and focusing his eyesight on the stuccoed ceiling to keep from ogling the woman any further, his hands just resting lazily on his chest.
Baby looked at Dean since the Ewoks weren't on the TV anymore. She'd noticed him staring a lot and she wondered why. "Um, why do you keep looking at me?" She asked innocently, she was holding onto her right knee that was pressed against her chest.
He bit his lip briefly before releasing it and rolling onto his side to face her properly. "It's something humans do when they see something that is beautiful or something they believe is beautiful. Most of the time, it's another human being." He felt so stupid that he had been caught. She was new to humanity and he felt like a pervert now. She was sweet and innocent, everything no one else was in this God forsaken world; even with the evidence he'd washed away of a rape, he knew she was still innocent and sweet.
Baby blinked as she looked down at her knee. She closed her eyes and let out a soft breath. "So is that why my stomach feels weird and I'm trying to focus on that screen, to keep from looking at you?" She wondered out loud, allowing the words to filter through the air.
Dean raised up on an elbow for balance and slipped a finger beneath her chin, raising it to look at him. "That would be a good bet." He said gently as he smoothed his thumb over her jawline. "And you don't have to be afraid to look at me." He then took to smoothing the strands of golden hair that still laid upon her shoulder.
Baby watched his hand intently, leaning into his touch for a short moment before placing her chin on her knee. "I guess, but..." She didn't even know why she was trying to argue. "I don't know." She shook her head, blond hair shaking upon her shoulders. "I guess I'm just confused." She glanced at Dean from the corner of her eye, there was sadness within them.
With his face muscles contorting into an understanding frown, Dean pulled Baby down to lay her head against his bare chest, wrapping his arms around her. "There's no need to be confused. I'll explain as much as I can." His voice was soothing to her and she liked that. He didn't like her being upset, he knew it was a lot to take in, but he wanted nothing more than to help her, she'd helped him all his life as a car, now that she was human again, he felt he should fully repay the unspoken debt by helping her learn to be human.
Baby allowed Dean to move her, she laid against him with her arms plastered to her chest. She sighed in a mixture of sadness and happiness, not knowing which emotion to feel. She didn't know what else to do or say, she hadn't quite learned everything yet and she still couldn't remember a lot of things from the last time she was human. Just when she was about to move her left hand onto his chest and move closer to him, her neck started to hurt, a ping of pain like that of a tip of a knife gently stabbing into her skin. So instead she slid her left arm up to touch her neck with her fingers and leaned backward. "Ow..." She sounded as if she was wondering if that was the right word when really she knew that was the right word.
Dean lifted his head once more, alerted when she said the word 'ow' and saw her touching her neck. "Are you hurt?" He asked her as he lifted her hand to find two small puncture wounds on her neck that he had previously managed to overlook; he let go of her hand to touch the bite with his fingertips. "Looks like you have been bitten." He said gravely in a gentle tone, his hand lingering on her neck, his thumb on her jawline, his index and middle fingers lingering on the puncture wounds. The bite holes were so large, that his fingers fit perfectly on top of them. Subconsciously, his thumb smoothed the skin on her jaw.
"What?" Baby tilted her head to look at Dean, her hair falling back behind her and her hand slipping to his ribs. "I-I don't really understand..." She tried her best to ignore the searing hot sensational feeling in her bite mark that his fingers gave them.
"An animal bite." Dean's heart began to pound faster. That would explain the slight confusion to human activities. She wasn't purely human this time around. Not only had she been turned into a human, she had been bitten. By what, Dean didn't know for sure. "Do you remember anything from before you got back here?" He asked her, his voice slightly panicked, his hand sliding away from her neck to her chest.
Baby slowly shook her head, not picking up on the panic; she still felt the heat in her bite mark and now she could feel the heat rising in her chest where his hand now resided. "Um, yeah. I-I was by myself after I got dressed in the bathroom of the bedroom that woman put me in and before I could put on my shirt, someone grabbed me from behind and tossed me on the bed. It was that man who followed me here... H-He got onto the bed, on top of me, he lowered his head to my neck, I felt pain and then everything went black." She replied giving Dean an apologetic look like she was asking if that was a bad thing.
The hunter shook his head to shake away the anger that was starting to boil inside him from the explanation that she gave him and pulled her closer to his chest, he needed to watch Baby closely, to figure out what that man was. "I need to watch you, closely. Watch for signs that will help me figure out what that man is, the man who bit you." He told her simply. ~He's the one who raped her, the bastard. I'll get you for that, you'll get your comeuppance one day.~ He thought to himself.
"Okay." Baby replied with a soft voice, her body trembling against him in the slightest bit. Her body was curled against him, that might be a clue to the biter being feline in species.
"We'll try to figure it out in the morning. Right now you should sleep. Or watch your Star Wars until nightfall." Dean would watch her through the evening and the night to see if he could spot anything unusual in her movements and her slumber. The hunter was used to having little to no sleep, so he greeted having the task to watch her sleep with delight, surprising enough.
Baby didn't know anything about his trouble sleeping, so she automatically wondered about him. "What about you?" She would turn into the worrying type of woman. "Don't you sleep?" She added another question to clarify what she meant with her previous question.
"I do. Just not very often." Dean replied with a kind smile. "When you have seen the things I have, you tend to have nightmares."
Baby was a bit confused. "What do you mean?" She didn't want him to feel that way, the sweetheart. "What are nightmares?"
Dean leaned his head up slightly. "They are really scary images in your head when you sleep." He didn't really know how else to explain it.
Baby furrowed her brow, but instead of opening her mouth, she curled up beside him and laid her cheek on his bare chest, placing her left hand near her face, her thumb under her own chin. "I'm sorry..." She murmured into his skin, her eyes closed tightly for a moment.
"It's okay, Baby." His voice was soft and soothing as he ran his fingers through Baby's hair. He still couldn't quite believe his car was a human woman again or that she had blond hair now, instead of brown, though he wasn't complaining. "You don't have to be sorry." He kept running his fingers through her hair.
The blond opened her eyes to watch the movie that had come back on from going to commercial for the second time since Baby's lovestruck moment with Luke, but Return of the Jedi was at the end and The Phantom Menace was about to start. That was what she did and Dean stayed still beneath her, letting her ask him a million questions during each movie. It was weird to be watching movies with his car, but he wasn't complaining, it was nice to watch a movie with someone other than his brother and sister.
When Revenge of the Sith was just about over, it was roughly 10:00 PM give or take, Baby started to get a little sleepy, her eyes drooping, she yawned and swept her cheek against Dean's skin; she was falling asleep on Dean. She found it easy to fall asleep on him all curled up beside him and in his arms. He was a heater, that's why. He'd put on some plaid pajama pants and gotten them under the sheet and thin comforter a while ago, so she was warm and cozy, and he was decently warm, he smiled to himself as Baby's breathing slowed and he gave her another Ripley head kiss. Her mouth a little slack as she slumbered. To his shock, there was a soft purring sound reverberating from the woman. The man that had bitten her was feline it would seem which left out canines.
April the 19th, 2006
The TV had been left on, the original six Star Wars movies playing on repeat, volume on low, playing in the background, all night long. Baby asleep on a half-asleep Dean, the sky turning from crimson to a midnight black to a light blue as the evening disappeared into night and then the night disappeared into morning, it's light starting to seep through the half-open window, right onto a sleeping Baby's face. The blond slowly began to stir, making soft moaning sounds, almost like those of a mewing kitten just barely awakening from its slumber. The woman's eyes fluttered, then her head slid up Dean's bare chest to his shoulder, her hair sliding off his shoulder and onto the mattress beneath them, her eyes fluttering once more as they opened to focus themselves on Dean's face for a moment. With her eyes dropping to his waist where her hand had ended up during the night, she began to smile, knowing for certain that he'd stayed beside her all night.
Subconsciously, Baby slowly started to slide her fingers up from his waist, between his ribs, on his sternum and over the uppermost part of Dean's chest and then gently glided her fingers up his neck to his cheek, his chin and finally to his lips, just barely touching them with the very tips of her index and middle fingers side by side. Not quite caring if she woke him from his slumber. Of course, she did care, but she was curious and his skin was the right combination of rough and smooth, especially on his lips, something she found irresistible, a word she'd remember the meaning of at a later time. Her fingers took turns with her thumb as they all smoothed themselves over Dean's full lips, tight jaw and semi-cleft chin. Baby's eyes full of curious delight and a small smile slowly creeping into her own full lips, the corners of her mouth curving upward.
Dean kept his eyes closed though he'd awoken as soon as she had stretched; he allowed her to explore his lips with her fingers for as long as she wished though he fought to keep a smile off his face. He didn't want to frighten her. As Baby trailed each fingertip over the skin of his lips, he slowly lost the will to remain still and knew he couldn't keep from smiling; having to remind himself that she knew very little of human feelings and wouldn't understand his actions, he had to handle the situation delicately, better than he had the last time she was turned human.
As soon as Dean had twitched, Baby's body jerked and she darted her hand away, letting it hover in mid-air above his mouth. "Oops. Sorry." She cringed apologetically. "Did I wake you?" She asked curiously, hoping she hadn't woken him up because then she would she feel bad and start apologizing profusely.
Opening his eyes fully, Dean stretched before answering her cringe-worthy question, his own fingers gently tugging hers back to his face, placing them on his cheek at the corner of his lips. "I'm a light sleeper." He assured her before sliding her fingertips over his lips and placing a soft kiss to them. "Nothing to worry your pretty little head over." He mumbled, his lips vibrating her fingertips.
Baby was completely still. She hadn't expected him to take her hand into his own, much less place her fingers back onto his lips, but the one thing that made her move was his soft kiss. Baby twitched at his kiss, the human part of her sensually reacting to his sensual kiss. Breathing became a little bit harder and she'd let out a breath when she twitched. "Huh..." A curious, yet, breathy sound escaped her lips as her eyes closed tightly.
Gently dropping her hand to his right shoulder and brushing a few strands of hair from her shoulder, Dean allowed his lips to brush hers ever so lightly. If someone was going to show his Baby what it was to be human again, there was no doubt it would be him this time. He dropped his hand from her shoulder only to let it fall to her waist as he moved her a bit closer to his side, supporting his weight on one elbow. He let his eyes connect with hers when he'd paused the kiss. Baby was all kinds of confused. She'd leaned forward to kiss him back, but then moved according to his movements. Her hand sliding to his neck as soon as his lips touched hers. She slowly opened her eyes to find his eyes were already trained on hers. "What did you do to me?" Baby wondered out loud with a furrowed brow, not remembering what his action was called. She cringed, hoping that her question wouldn't upset him.
The hunter's hands fell to the mattress, deciding he should get out of bed and fully dressed, he moved the covers off of his legs, swung them over the edge of the bed and let his bare feet fall onto the floor. "I'm so stupid." He huffed as he stood to his full height, shaking his head. "Sometimes I just don't think." He walked around the bed to grab some jeans and a shirt from his bag before stepping into the bathroom. "It's called a kiss." He spoke a bit louder so Baby would hear him beyond the wall that separated the two.
Baby's body had jerked when he quickly got up. She sat up onto her ass, bringing her knees up to her chest, the sheet was pulled up over her bare legs. She didn't know what she did wrong, what she said wrong or what to do, so she just watched him move around to get his clothes and then enter the bathroom, leaving her all alone in the main room. When she heard him finally answer her question, Baby frowned instead of smiled, she hadn't meant to upset him, she liked what he had done to her, she liked his kiss. She wanted him to kiss her again and again, she wanted him to kiss her fingertips again, to touch her skin. It made her feel good and made her feel love, a word she would later re-learn the definition of. She waited a moment, not sure what to do yet. Her messenger bag had been put down beside his duffel on the floor on his side, the right side of the bed.
Slowly, but surely, Baby gracefully got up off of the bed and slowly made her way toward the bathroom door. She didn't exactly remember what to do with it being closed, but she remembered that the knob protruding from the wood could be turned. She turned it and opened it to find Dean sitting on the lowered toilet lid with his head in his hand and his elbows on his thighs. "Dean?" She called his name softly, standing in the doorway, leaning her shoulder against the frame, arms lightly crossed over her chest. "I'm sorry..." She apologized to him as if it was her fault. "I didn't mean to make you... Mad..." Baby stood still in the doorway, wishing she could make herself move forward to embrace him like she wanted to.
Lifting his head from his hands, Dean tilted his head to his left shoulder to look at his humanized car. "Baby, I'm not upset with you. Hell, you were a car two days ago. How could I expect you to understand what I had done? How could I expect you to remember from five years ago?" He took a deep breath to try and calm himself before he started yelling at her, knowing that would frighten her and he never wanted to frighten her. How was he going to teach Baby how to be human again when he didn't exactly know what it was to be human anymore? Sure, he had basic human needs and urges, but every human had those. He was out of his league here and he was just doing the best that he could this time around.
Baby frowned deeply as she slowly came over to her hunter. "Why did you move away, from me, Dean?" She stood beside him, his head at her belly. "Why did you come into here?" She was questioning him, but only because she was curious and hadn't wanted him to go away in the first place.
Without stopping to think about his actions, Dean leaned his head against Baby's midsection, releasing a breath he hadn't realized he was holding until he'd let it out. "It was an instinct, Baby. My body said that I had upset you, so, it moved." He found himself fumbling over his words. He was doing a horrible job of explaining anything to her. Sam was the one who could turn a phrase, even Cat was good with her words, but Dean was as blunt as a dull butter knife. Luckily the beating he was giving himself was purely mental.
Baby almost didn't understand, but her new intelligent brain deciphered it perfectly. "You didn't upset me, Dean. I just didn't know what you did, I didn't remember what a kiss was..." She shook her head as her arms came up to lightly wrap around his head. "I just wanted you to tell me what you gave me, not leave me alone..." She sighed as her arms dropped to her sides. "Because I like it... I liked your kiss... Both of them..." Baby spoke softly, tearfully; she had liked his kisses, the one on her lips and the one on her fingertips.
Before she could fully drop her arms to her side, Dean took the wrist of her right hand and placed her palm against his cheek as his eyes closed and he let out another breath, her touch making him feel love, true love. "I'm sorry, Baby. I just thought I upset you, so I told myself to leave you be." He wrapped his right arm around her waist and pulled her closer. "You liked my kisses, huh?" Dean asked gently as he gave a soft chuckle and wrapped his other around her waist.
Baby stayed quiet for a moment before slowly bringing Dean's face up to look at her. In the front of her mind, she didn't know what she was doing, but in the back, well, she knew everything. "Yes, I did, Dean..." She slowly leaned downward, leaning her face down into his and copying his actions from before, she let her lips touch his own in a soft kiss. With his eyes closing, Dean let his lips mold to hers as his hands moved of their own free will, grabbing her by her thighs and pulling her down onto his lap. For a moment every confusing thing in the moment disappeared and the world seemed right to the hunter; a moment that was sure to end all too soon, but for now, the hunter let go of his worries and his fears as his arms enveloping around Baby's waist, their lips moving in unison. He knew now that he needed her near him, he needed her here with him, never to leave his side; he made protecting her his first priority, his siblings were now second priority with Cat being second and Sam being third, respectfully by the fact that his sister was more fragile than his brother. There was no doubt in Dean's mind about that and he wouldn't look for a way to break the new spell that had turned the Impala human once more. Dean didn't care anymore, he didn't want the car version anymore. All he knew was that he wanted the woman he now held in his arms more than he wanted the air to breath.
Baby allowed the hunter to pull her closer, to pull her onto his lap, even moving of her own free will to straddle his lap and make it easier for the hunter to sit her on his lap. She instantly circled his shoulders with her arms and cradled his head in her delicate hands and against her small wrists, her fingers spread over his short cropped hair; she never wanted to leave his side, ever. She felt safe near him, with him, beside him and in his strong arms. There was nowhere on this earth or in the whole universe, she'd rather be than to be in her hunter's strong arms where she knew she'd always be safe from harm. Yeah, being a car had it's own perks, and ups and downs, but being human was far better than being a car, in her own opinion. She could be held and touched by her favorite hunter and actually be able to feel him in return, rather than a one way feeling similar to that of a two-way mirror with her on the mirror side and Dean on the window side. Baby wanted this, desperately, just as much as Dean did and no matter the cost, she would see it done that she would stay human forever.
Dean let his tongue trail along Baby's bottom lip to test how deep her human instincts ran. Her response would better help him understand the extent of just what he needed to teach her. He shifted slightly beneath her to give himself a better view of her face, allowing him to watch the emotions that played across her features as he did his own exploring; his hands first resting against her shoulder blades, his chest rising and falling in a slightly heavy manner. Baby was confused, but only for the first moment. She opened her mouth a little wider and slowly extended her tongue, probing, curious, touching Dean's. This was new alright, but she didn't care, she wanted to be human; curiosity was the only emotion that played over her face so far. His hands slid over her curves before coming to rest low on her hips. Dean's tongue dancing lazily with Baby's; her instincts were there, the hunter just needed to unlock them. The way her body pressed against his own spoke volumes to him. An undeniable need growing between the two.
The blond didn't exactly know what she was getting herself into, but she didn't care, she wanted, something, something she didn't remember what, but Dean sure as hell knew exactly what she wanted. Although it wasn't the best time. There were a million different things that could happen. They were gonna have to simmer down and eventually stop, considering the fact she needed more women's clothes and Dean needed to find himself another vehicle, and he needed to call his siblings. So many things to do, so little time, but only one thing they wanted, that they'd have to wait for, it would make them appreciate it a whole lot more, but the woman never moved away from the man, leaving her lips on his own, moving her hands from the back of his head to his cheeks, spreading her fingers over them, her little fingers on each of his ears.
Abruptly, the phone on the bedside table went off, an annoying ringtone meant for Sam's number. Dean's body jerked in response to the sound, his lips slid over Baby's and she leaned her face forward to follow his lips as her hands slid down his neck to his shoulders and wrapped themselves around him. The hunter pulled away and slide his cheek over to the blond's, not wanting to move, but he knew he had to. She was breathing hard as if she'd just ran a mile and a half; he was breathing hard as well, but more mesmerized than anything. "What's that noise?" Baby breathlessly asked in his ear, curiosity filling her tone.
"My phone. Sammy, my brother's calling." Dean replied in a soft tone, wrapping his arms around her tighter. "Sam's probably wondering why I haven't texted him in so long."
"Oh. Shouldn't you answer that?" Baby asked him; the phone abruptly shut off.
"Voicemail will pick it up. I should go listen to it, though." The hunter murmured into her torso as his head slid down from her cheek to her shoulder, his eyes closed.
Baby's brows furrowed of their own accord. "Then, why aren't you?" She asked once more.
The man was silent a moment, he was unsure of what to say in response; the man was just holding onto the woman tighter now, his arms had constricted once more as if she was going to disappear on him forever and he'd never get to hold her again. "I-" He cut himself off, he still didn't know how to answer that question. "I don't know..." He trailed this time; he didn't know why he wasn't removing the woman from his lap and listening to his brother's voicemail on his phone.
The blond looked down at the hunter's head, her brow furrowed even more; her arms falling from his shoulders, her hands on his biceps. "Why don't you know?" She asked another question, she was good at asking questions, she always had been.
"I, I don't know that either, Baby." Dean replied to her without irritation. "I guess, I just don't wanna let you go." He paused a moment. "This is all so strange to me, again. You being human again, and the only differences are your hair color and the fact that you've been bitten by a Cat Shifter of some kind. I've just gotten used to Car Baby again." The hunter chuckled a moment, trying to understand, and thus decipher, the feelings he now felt inside his heart.
"Oh." Baby said softly, her own feelings making her question what they meant. "Is being human again a... Bad thing?" She'd hesitated before she said 'bad thing'.
Dean lifted his head to look at her with a furrowed brow, his head beginning to shake at her, telling her 'no' without speaking. "No, Baby. No, of course not. You being human isn't a bad thing, just a new thing. Okay?" He told her as he hands slid to her hips.
Baby nodded her head in acknowledgment, her lips frowning thoughtfully. She moved to place her head on his shoulder, her arms wrapping themselves around his neck once more. "Okay." She finally replied, her fingers playing with his blue flannel's collar.
The hunter wrapped his arms around her, hands on her back, fingers splayed out over his red flannel on her body. His chin on her shoulder, his right-hand soothing circles on her back and the fingers of his left-hand curling into the flannel at the small of her back.
Again, the phone started ringing. The couple jerked in each other's arms, the woman more so than the man. "I better go pick that up, before my sister calls." Dean stated gravely as he rubbed Baby's back more.
"Okay." She seemed to sigh in reply.
"Come on, Baby." He chuckled gently as he lifted her up off his lap and set her down onto her feet, standing up with her; Dean wrapped an arm around her and guided her into the main room.
The two sat on Dean's side of the bed next to each other; Dean reached for his phone with his right hand as Baby wrapped her arms around his left bicep. The phone was still ringing, Sam's number; Dean flipped the phone open and placed it on his ear. "Hello?" The hunter prompted the caller.
"Dean! Damn it! Why the hell did you take so long to answer your Goddamn phone?!" The caller was Sam and he sounded quite irritated while driving; in the background, Cat was exclaiming in relief and a dog barked.
Dean couldn't help, but to chuckle at his siblings. "I was busy, Sam. Sorry. How's Cat doing? Is she okay?" He noticed the barking in the background. "And what's the barking coming from, hmm?"
"Cat's doing absolutely fine, Dean. She's safe now, you don't gotta worry anymore." Sam paused, not mentioning all of the bruises she'd had when he first found her. "Oh, Cat has a dog now." He said plainly. "And what kept you so busy that you forgot to text me and take forever to pick up?" Sam demanded of his brother curiously.
"Oh, she has a dog now, okay." Dean made a silly okay face, then grinned. "This is why." He held the phone to Baby's ear.
"Hi, Sammy. Hi, Cat. Hi, doggie. It's Baby." The blond said happily, hoping that would help.
Dean brought the phone back to his ear after she spoke. "That's the reason I was so busy." He spoke into the phone with a grin on his lips, but his tone sounded informational.
"Wh-What?!" Sam exclaimed into the phone; he was confused.
"What is it, Sam?" Cat asked curiously; the dog barked again. "Max! Shush!" She ordered the dog.
"My car, my Baby, is human again." Dean replied plainly.
"How the hell does that work?" Sam demanded.
The hunter shook his head. "The same sorceress transformed her into a human the night before last, the 17th and now she's human again." Dean replied once more, shrugging and turned to give Baby another Ripley kiss to her head that was content to lean against his shoulder.
"That sorceress? That's strange. Sorcerers and sorceresses usually reside in the northwestern part of the United States. Witches and Warlocks tend to stick close to southeastern and Wizards like northeastern. But hey, we dealt with this sorceress before, so it shouldn't really irk me about it region wise." Sam replied in his geek speak that always made his sister laugh.
"Okay, Geek Charming, we don't need a magic lesson." Cat laughed from the passenger seat.
"Well, it was a sorceress, the same one from before. At least that's what Baby said, but she probably doesn't remember well. We can ask her later, but I saw the sorceress with my own eyes, it looked like the same bitch from five years ago, but hey, I don't remember much from that long ago, so... Just hurry up and get your asses over here to St. Cloud or it will your ass I kick, Sammy." Dean interjected.
"Will do." Sam replied. "Well, we're on our way to St. Cloud right now, so you don't gotta kick anybody's ass, Dean. We'll be there in a couple hours or so, four hours at most. If we're not there in four hours, you know when to start worrying about us."
Dean nodded his head. "Got it. Four hours. We'll be waiting. Talk to you then." The two hung up at the same time; the hunter turned to the blond by his side, who looked up at him with a soft smile. "Are you comfortable, Baby?" He asked her with a grin on his face.
The blond shrugged, her lips tugging to one side in a playful smirk, one that resembled Dean's, he couldn't help noticing. "Yeah." She said not caring if that was the wrong word, he was smiling at her and she didn't want to make his smile disappear, she loved his smile too much.
The hunter grinned before chuckling lightly and shaking his head. "You remind me so much of myself, but there's a bit of Cat in you too." He paused a moment, intensely staring into Baby's eyes. "She'll love you, just like she did before." Dean said softly, one corner of his mouth lifting in a sweet smile.
"Really?" Baby said softly, her childlike tone popping up for some strange reason; to hypnotize the hunter, no doubt, he thought.
Dean smiled and nodded his head. "She will, I know it." He confirmed for her.
The woman sweetly smiled in return before laying her head on the man's shoulder, shifting her body, holding onto his arm tighter and sweeping her cheek over his bicep. The hunter smirked at this, leaned his head down to hers, placing a soft Ripley kiss to her hair before affectionately placing his cheek onto her head. He sighed, happily of course. He'd never been this happy before, well except when someone bought or baked him pie or made him bacon or when he had a beer or even when he had whiskey, or maybe the best time of his, when she was human a long time ago. Those were what made him the happiest, and his brother and sister of course. Having them around always made him happy, whether he'd like to admit it or not. Knowing that Cat was safe in Sam's Charger made Dean feel like he hadn't failed her, or Sam. He was looking forward to seeing his little sister again, to holding her in his strong brotherly arms for the longest time since they were kids. But the thing that still confused him was the happiness he felt when he had Baby attached to him, had her in his arms. He'd never felt this way about any other woman before, why now? Why this woman? Was this a test of heart? Or was it a lesson?
