A/U: Okay, so this is something completely new and nerdy. DON'T JUDGE ME! Should I continue this crossover or no? Please R&R.

Alexis Mills was different than the rest of her family. Oh man, was she different. Her family was large, loud, and filthy rich. Her lineage began when her grandmothers, Regina and Emma Mills, who had her father, Henry. He married into another fabulously wealthy family, the McCoys, another lesbian family in the little-big town of Newcrest. Henry's in-laws welcomed him and his family in with open arms. They had weekly weekend dinners and would go on vacations together. He didn't mean to fall in love with their daughter, it just happened; but when they did, his mothers couldn't have been more thrilled. After they were married, they all moved in together and were one big happy family.

All she wanted was to be normal, to have a quiet and simple life. Her older brother, Arthur, always picked on her for being so quiet and reclusive. She just wanted to focus on school and reading, mainly focusing on her dream of becoming a doctor one day. Even though he always gave her a hard time, he could always put a smile on her face and make her laugh. Her mother, Julia, was a stay at home mom, making sure to take care of her children, the home, cooking, cleaning, tending the garden…she was superwoman. However, the woman would NOT give her, her space. Jeez, could she talk! One day, she was trying to help her with homework and in typical angsty teen fashion, screamed at her to leave her alone, heading up to her room, Julia yelled, "ALEXIS MILLS, YOU ARE JUST LIKE YOUR GRANDMOTHER REGINA!" When it hit her…she never even met that grandmother. Her grandmother Emma was still alive, surprisingly. However, after the love of her life died, she moved away with her cat Luna, stating she wanted to make the most out her remaining life.

Alexis' life began in tragedy. When she was born, her family had been hit with a wave of horrendous events. Firstly, her mother's grandparents had passed, then she quit her job, and the loving family cat had ran away, only to return to pass the following day. Her grandmother Regina had just died from a stroke when she was born. She can hardly remember her, but from what her father had told her, she was just like her. Henry was depressed for months, burying himself into his work, trying to forget that his mother had passed. Everyone was so miserable, it was like she had barley been born.

Alexis was slightly jealous of Arthur. He had the looks, the charm, the humor and considered him the favorite child. He never got into trouble. Alexis was very much the opposite. She had the glasses, the smarts, loved video games, and let's not forget drenched in black, head to toe. For a period of time she wondered if she was adopted, but whenever she looked at the pictures on the wall, she was reassured she was most certainly not.

When graduation came, she couldn't wait to get out of that house! She moved out that very weekend. It's not that she wasn't close to her family now that she was older, she was, but she needed to get away from them. It was her time to shine own her own, with peace and quiet. As a graduation present, her father bought her an apartment. At first she was irritated at the fact, especially since it wasn't far from her parents, but as soon as she walked in, she burst into tears. "Dad…you didn't have to do this." she lunged in her fathers arms, as he grinned from ear to ear.

"I hope you like it." he chuckled. "It's the old fish market you've always admired." He found a building that was a fire station in the early 1800's, then later turned into a fish market in the 1920's. it was a two-story loft apartment covered in brick. Henry managed to install all new appliances and pluming. There were vintage art and collectable from the past, which he knew his daughter loved. She was an artist and wanted nothing more than to please his only daughter.

Alexis smiled against her father's chest, letting the tears fall as she whispered, "It's perfect. Thank you."

Henry hugged her tighter. "It has an extra room for guest, but it isn't very large. I left it empty so you can do whatever you want with it." Just as she was about to tell how much she loved it he gasped. "Oh, I almost forgot! Come with me." Alexis followed him up the stairs and there was a massive bed with Van Goghs' Starry Night as the comforter, followed by an easel in front of a massive window. "Wait here." She stood in front of the bed, admiring her new home in utter amazement, when all of a sudden she heard a tiny meow come from the extra room. "This is Gus, your new roommate."

"OH MY GOD!" Alexis screamed as she ran towards the tiny black and white creature.

"I know how much you love cats, so I figured your ole dad could hook you up with a little buddy.

Alexis was overcome with so much emotion she could hardly contain her regal demeanor. "Damn, if all I needed to do was adopt a kitten for you to make you this happy, I would have done this a long time ago." He chuckled. "I've never seen you so happy sweetheart."

"Dad, you're the best! Thank you for everything!" She lunged and hugged him as if she weren't ever going to see him again.

"You act like we're never going to see you again. We're just right around the corner if you ever need us."

"I know…you just don't know how much this means to me. Seriously."

After Henry showed her the rest of the apartment, they returned downstairs to order a pizza and deviled in their favorite TV show, E.R as they chatted about the past. Gus nuzzled in the middle purring in bliss of being in a new home.

Before Henry left for the evening, he handed his daughter a thick vanilla folder out of his laptop bag. "I know we've never talked about your grandma Regina, but this is everything about her life. It's what she accomplished, her upbringing, how she met Emma…I'm sorry we never talked about it…it just…" Henry was trying desperately to hold back his tears, choking on air for a moment before he let it out. "It just hurts baby, I'm sorry."

"Dad! Dad it's okay! I figured you and mom had your reasons!" She couldn't believe her father, the man who sacrificed everything for his family, broke down and cried. Not once had she seen him shed a tear, let alone sob.

"No, no it's not okay. She wouldn't have wanted me to keep her from you. Every time you made a snark, or a look, or sarcastic comment, I wanted so desperately to tell you all about her, but when I tried, I just wanted to break down and I couldn't let you see that."

His daughter held in a laugh, "And now?"

"You see! That! That's something she would say! Alexis, you have no idea how much you two are alike. Your wit is spot on to hers. I just…I want you to know who she is. You lived with the other grandmother's and knew them, so it's only fair that you know her."

Alexis smirked as she hugged her father one last time, "I love you, dad. Thank you again, for everything."

"Anything for you." He wiped his tears, smiling at his daughter. He was going to miss seeing her at home, but felt comfort knowing she wasn't far.

As soon as he left, Alexis sprinted up the stairs, plopping onto her bed, Gus quickly following behind her. She lifted him onto the massive bed, making himself comfortable on a pillow. "I think I'll call you Gus-gus instead." she giggled. Ah, peace and quiet at last! She thought to herself. She grabbed the vanilla folder and began reading up on her deceased grandmother, the infamous Regina Mills.
