Spoilers: Well a little bit if "Daddy's Little Girl"

"I guess some people are just not meant to be together." Sara concluded as she left the room leaving Grissom feeling lonely. What did Sara mean by that? Was she over him? Had she moved on without him? He didn't want her to though. He wanted her for himself. Why couldn't she just wait? Who was he kidding? She should move on if she wants to. He had taken too long to tell her he loves her. It was the one that waited and now it was too late. He could never be with her now…

The look in her eyes was what changed his mind. It was a look he had seen before. When she admitted her love for him. The look she gave him was the same look but with more hurt then he had ever seen. Maybe he wasn't too late. Maybe he could go find her right now. Maybe not.

"Sara." Came a panting voice from the locker room door.

She didn't want to look at him. Her eyes were tear stained and her face red as if she had cried for hours. She stared into the darkness of her locker.

"Sara."

"What?"

"Can we talk?"

"About what Grissom? I have nothing to say."

"What were you talking about back there?"

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"Were you talking about the case or…" he paused. "Or us?" She slowly cocked her head to the side but didn't reply.

"Sara…I don't know what to say."

"Don't say anything Grissom. It doesn't matter what I was talking about."

"It matters to me Sara. I want us to talk. To be like we used to be."

"And what was that like Grissom? Tell me because I think I forgot."

"We used to be friends. We used to have fun together. I know you remember."

"God damn it Grissom I don't want to be friends anymore. I want to be…" she gasped realising what she almost said. She always did that around him. She could never control her actions or thoughts. They locked eyes for a moment before she shut her locker door and moved towards him to get out the door that was behind him. She was in the hall, almost home free but then she felt someone's arm wrap around her waist and drag them both into the closet and slammed the door trapping them both.

"Grissom! What the hell are you doing? Let me out right now!" She said.

"No, not until you tell me what you meant." Their lips were mere centimetres apart.

"Who cares. It is not important. What is important is getting me out before I slap my boss across the face Grissom. I mean it." She yelled tears in her eyes.

Grissom thought for a while. She really is pissed off but if I let her go I might never know how she really feels. Her body was pressed up against his in the little room and all he wanted was to kiss her right there. He cupped her face with his hands and looked into her eyes.

Sara hoped to god this would not happen. If she stayed away from him and didn't look at him to long she thought she could stop loving him. It was working…until now.

"Don't do this." She whispered.

"Do what." He pushed.

"Something you are going to regret." She was panting harder now. Why did he have to be so close? She thought she would pass out if he did this any longer.

Grissom felt her heavy breathing and got his answer right there. He pulled her lips to his and ran his arms down her back. She moaned half hoping he would stop doing this to her and half hoping he would never stop. Many minutes later they broke apart both panting.

"Do you completely hate me now?" Grissom said after coming to his senses about what he had just done.

"Grissom, I hate you as much as I love you."

They both smirked closing the space between their lips once again.
