Matt had called Mello crazy when he had announced that he was heading to the store to buy himself some chocolate, the reason being that it had just finished raining really hard and the temperature was nearly below zero and the roads were likely to freeze over.
Mello just called Matt as pussy as he grabbed his helmet off the kitchen table.
An icy wind blew through Mello's long blonde hair as he sped down the road, grateful that his helmet had a visor on it to cover his face. Mello decided to be a good citizen and follow the law, stopping when he came to a red light.
His craving for chocolate intensified, making him damn the red light straight to hell for taking such a long time to change. "Fucking finally," He murmured, glaring at the light as he revved his engine, going about ten too much over the speed limit to make a left turn.
Mello sucked in a deep breath whenever his motorcycle swerved violently. His wheel had caught a patch of black ice.
Mello's life flashed before his eyes as he was thrown from his motorcycle. Pain shot through him when he landed, tumbling down the hill. The road tore his leather in some spots, giving him pain road burn.
Mello's life flashed before his eyes. What if an oncoming car hit him and killed him? He would never get to eat chocolate again! He would never get to see his baby again!
Mello squeezed his eyes shut, lying in the road when he finally rolled to a stop, pain throbbing and pulsing through his back. When he felt nothing else was going to happen, Mello painfully got to his feet—only to slip on a patch of ice, falling right back onto the road on his ass.
"Ugh! Stupid, fucking, bloody ice!" He cursed loudly enough that the whole city no doubt could've heard him.
Collapsing to his knees, Mello smiled down through the darkness. "I'm glad you didn't get too banged up, baby," He said, stroking his motorcycle.
Author's Note: This little drabble is something I thought up to try and break out of my writers block. I couldn't decide if I should call this crack or pure humor, so Nikki (amenohi-kie) helped me settle on calling it mild crack. Enjoy and review.
