I'm running behind on this year's Christmas story, so I'll instead post this sonnet I wrote ages ago. The idea behind this is a "show within a show" obviously based directly on Phineas and Ferb. This poem was to be a plot point in a fanfic that would include this inner show. Isabella would write this in a thinly veiled attempt to express her feelings to Phineas during a... power outage? (Something like that.) I never got around to writing the full story. Depending on the feedback from this poem, I might consider writing the full story.

I don't own Phineas and Ferb, but I do own a 4.0 GPA.

A/N: Vincent = Phineas. I'm posting this unedited as it would appear in the full story. Just equate the two.

I look across this room and what do I find?
Pages and pages of letters for my Vincent
A boy so bright and so kind
But those pages shall never be sent

They would not change a thing
For he just could never understand
The emotions inside he could bring
With just the touch of his hand

He gets everyone else, why not us?
Maybe I should just tell him, just confess
How I'm so obvious, and he's so oblivious
Ask him if he loves me, and perhaps he'll say "Yes"

That will be the day, my life's best day
The day things will finally go my way

Be sure to tell me if you want the full story. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
