"Kyoya, we're missing something!" Tamaki whined, effectively distracting Kyoya from his work.
"What are we missing?" Kyoya humored his lover, and best friend, Tamaki.
"A daughter; a cute, sweet, girly daughter." Tamaki cooed, annoying his boy friend.
Kyoya didn't do cute, girly, or sweet; his eye twitched in irritation.
He figured, that Tamaki would leave him to work in peace, if he agreed, so he, relunctantly, agreed.
"Yay!" Tamaki squealed. "I can be the father of a little girl!"
"What does that make me, then?" Kyoya asked him, holding back his irritation to the best of his ability.
"The mother, of course." Tamaki confirmed Kyoya's suspicions. "We'll be fabulous parents!"
Kyoya glared at him.
Tamaki beamed back, and leaned in to him to kiss him. Kyoya sighed, and returned the kiss.
'Their future daughter' was all that Tamaki would talk about, so Kyoya to the orphanage to decide on a daughter.
"Can we get a baby girl, Kyoya?" Tamaki asked him.
Kyoya, definately, did not want a baby; it would distract him from his work, even more. He really didn't want to adopt any kid, but if he had to, it would not be a baby.
"No!" He told Tamaki, firmly; it was the only way to get Tamaki to understand when Kyoya wouldn't budge.
"Aw!" Tamaki pouted.
Kyoya rolled his eyes, though he did find Tamaki's pouting cute. He was not willing to cause a crash, just to kiss his lover's pouting lips.
They arrived at the orphanage shortly after their conversation.
"So, Mr. Ootori, Mr. Suoh, why do you want to adopt?" The manager of the orphanage asked them.
"We think that a child would make our lives more interesting, and it doesn't really concern you, does it?" Kyoya answered, knowing full well, that the man would back off, because of Kyoya, and Tamaki's combined wealth.
"Very well, sirs." He answered, nervously, and started wiping the sweat off of his brow.
"Can you tell us about the girls that are up for adoption that are five or up?" Kyoya asked, or more accurately commanded.
The manger listed off many young girls, and young women.
Tamaki paid close attention, absorbing every word for what it was worth.
Kyoya, however, found most of the girls dull, and girly.
The last one, though, got his attention. "We are getting a new one, but you probably won't want her. She's a five-year old, and recently lost her parents in a fire. Her father was a transvestite. The girl's name is Haruhi Fujioka."
"We'll take her; where do we sign?" Kyoya answered, startling Tamaki, and the manager.
"I take it, that you two live together?" The manager asked, sounding repulsed.
"We do." Kyoya answered in a no nonsense tone of voice.
"Usually the prospective mother, and father sign." The manager told them, uncomfortably.
"I'm the mother." Kyoya said, surprising the manager in to mute shock.
He handed them the papers to sign.
Kyoya signed them, first, then handed them to Tamaki to sign. Tamaki signed them, excitedly.
"As soon as she gets in, call us." Kyoya told him. "I am not letting my daughter spend a day here."
"Yes, sir!" The manager answered, nervously.
Tamaki hid his shock well.
After they left, Tamaki chose to sing in excitement, "We're getting a little girl to call our own. Her name is Haruhi."
