Kasuka sits at the end of the long table, watching the men and woman sitting on both sides discussing and debating plans for his new movie.
"Ikebukuro is the place! I'm tellin' ya!" a man in a blue tux says.
"The buildings have the right atmosphere." A woman adds.
"And the lighting with the weather is perfect." Another man says.
For once all the people present agree on something, but it's more important that the producer and the directed agree on it.
"It's a safe area and has a sound reputation. Along with the tame residences who won't interrupt the shooting. It's the exact replica of the script's description. Kasuka shoot an episode once there so they will be plenty of fans that'd probably do much of movie's publicity themselves." The producer says and everyone nods their heads in unison. The man looks at kasuka for his agreement and he nods. "So, Ikebukuro is it?" the man directs his question to the director who is staring at his tea with his eyebrows furrowed.
"Ikebukuro is the ideal location but... There is a rumor about things being throw often: Lampposts, vending machines, the like. Our equipment is expensive, as I'm sure you all know, and we can't afford any major damages nor do I want to run the risk of getting sued if an actor or actress got hurt by some flying trash can." He says and pushes his tea away from him.
"But the movie might not be as good if-" a woman starts.
"I'm not going to risk it." He cuts her off.
"They won't be any injuries." Kasuka says. The room gets silent and heads turn. "There won't be anything flying and nothing will get damaged because of flying objects." He continues.
"I know this movie means a lot to you but I can't take your word-"
"I promise." Kasuka says.
A few moments of silence pass before the director sighs and shakes his head, laughing. "yuhei hanejima is promising me? Well alright! Ikebukuro it is!" And with that the meeting continues but Kasuka, too distracted, doesn't notice. To busy thinking.
"Hey where are you going?" Kasuka turns around as his manager catches up to him. "Aren't you going to do the photo shoot?"
"I have to go do something first."
"Can't you do it later?"
" Sorry. " Kasuka makes to continue walking.
"Then let the driver drive you." The manager starts to wave to the sleeping driver.
"No it's okay, I want to walk." The manager stares at Kasuka for a moment before shrugging and saying alright.
"Just make sure not to take too long. You still have to go to the fitting!" He shouts as Kasuka walks away. "Weird..." He mumbles before pounding on the glass to wake the driver.
