Summary: One day she is outside, something happens that triggers Luna's memory of her mother. 100 words drabble.

Disclaimer: No, I don't own Harry Potter. I'm not delusional enough to think that I'm JKR and no character or setting is mine, except this idea. (The poem is kind of mine too, since I wrote it, but that's all.)

Shimmer

By: Albinofrog

She smiled as she touched the white lily, it shimmered and turned blue.

Like her eyes.

Like her mother's eyes.

The smile faded on her lips.

She remembered softly spoken words and sweet kisses.

The words of a poem echoed through her head.

"…And leave you do,

The only trace of your sorrow

Is left in white lilies

Turned blue."

A single tear rolled down her cheek as she stood, throwing the flower away and walking back to the house.

The lily lay behind, forgotten on the grass, going unnoticed for years.

Everything, even the words, merely a distant memory.

Yes, I just published something a few minutes ago. It isn't my fault I have nothing else to do. Please review.
