Shepard walked through the CIC giving salutations to everyone. A nod to Kelly and a "how are you" to the navigators, anything to raise a little morale. He walked up the walkway to the bridge. A hey and hello to Hadley and Matthews. He stepped into the bridge. The holographic image of EDI popped up by him once he entered.
"Hello, Commander," EDI said.
"Good day, EDI." said Shepard looking out the cockpit window into the black space, " It is day right?"
"It all depends on what planet your on."
"Good point," Shepard stepped up behind the pilot, Joker. "How is it going, Joker?"
"I'm tired, overworked, hungry, and I gotta pee real bad. But you know I had a good two years of rest while you were dead, so I can't complain." said a sarcastic Joker.
"I'm glad you had time to catch up on your beauty sleep. You sure did need it."
"Haha," Joker continued his sarcasm, " You're lucky I just don't pass out at the helm and crash us into the nearest sun."
"Try not to do that and keep a course to Bekenstein." Shepard turned to leave the bridge and nearly bumped into Garrus who ran up to the Commander with excitement in his eyes.
"Shepard, you gotta see what that Kasumi got for that heist your going on." said a giddy Garrus.
"What is it?" asked Shepard.
"Just follow me to the hangar and you'll see," said Garrus.
Down in the hangar Kasumi and Garrus presented Kasumi's surprise and a confused and grumpy Shepard stared at it. A nine foot tall golden statue of Saren Arterius, Shepard's former enemy.
"What the Hell is this thing doing on my ship?" Said a disgruntled Shepard.
Garrus burst out with intense laughter. A smirking Kasumi said, "This is the gift for Mr. Donovan Hock."
Shepard took in a breath and said "I don't like it."
"Garrus seems to like it." said Kasumi pointing to a cackling Garrus.
"Well then I guess we'll keep it, until we get your partner's grey box. Then I'm melting this thing into a gun and shooting Garrus with it." Garrus's laughing grew stronger and Kasumi began chuckling as well as Shepard headed out of the hangar.
