He was not happy. He had everything a young man like him had ever wanted. He was married to a sweet, smart and beatiful woman who was in love with him, he had his own blacksmith shop and he lived a wealthy life. But he was not happy.

Every night, after he finished his work, he went to the port and just watched the sea. It called him. The sound of the waves breaking, the smell of salt that filled his nostrils, the warm breeze and the dark ocean which laid ahead of him. He felt at peace whenever he went there. An irony knowing how his father had died just ten years ago.

He missed the soft rocking of the water under him. Now all he could feel was motionlessness, sick and disgusting steadiness.

It would be very easy to commandeer one of those ships, he knew that, after all he had pirate blood running through his veins. But he also knew he had responsibilities on land. He was tired of it. He wished someday he would see that ship again. The ship which had brought him happiness for once in his entire life. He wished it would just take him away.

At some point he had stopped watching the sea afraid of falling in love with it once again, but tonight it was calling his name louder than ever. He refused going to the port though. This window seemed like a safe place if he did not want to succumb to its call.

He felt reassuring arms circling around him and settling lightly on his firm stomach.

"What's wrong, love?" his wife asked.

"Nothing" he simply said.

He was condemned to unhappiness for the rest of his life.
