Let's be friends, isn't that what you want?
Author's Note: Hello! I decided to write a fanfic about one of my OTPs, omg, I ship them so hard! Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy…omg, I'm in love! I'm an ultimate fan of Harry Potter, and this story will be about them! (Soft yaoi) Rating: blah blah blah…it's not mine…it's for JK Rowling…blah blah blah…whatever…
"I win."
Ron relaxed back on the chair as Harry groaned.
They were sitting in the Gryffindor common room, playing chess. Hermione was sitting beside them pondering over her books. She looked up suddenly.
"You don't need to brag," she said stiffly.
Ron glanced at her. "I wasn't bragging, I was just say-"
"Shh," Hermione put her finger on her lips and resumed studying.
Ron rolled his eyes. Harry watched the two of them. When will they ever get along?
Harry looked around the common room. This was his third year at Hogwarts, and he thought it wasn't very bad. He saw Dean and Seamus laughing together. Harry smiled faintly. The two were always getting along, unlike Ron and Hermione.
Harry stood up. Ron and Hermione looked up.
"Where are you going, mate?" Ron asked.
"Just…gonna go for a walk around. See ya."
He waved and left the common room. Gosh, he just needed a break. Harry walked slowly as he put his hands in his pockets. Something was bothering him. Why, when they had meals in the main hall, had the Slytherin brat, Draco Malfoy, been smiling at him a lot lately? Not the usual smirk, no, a whole new smile. A really…cute smile.
Wait, Malfoy cute? No way in hell.
Harry shook the worry away. Who cares anyway? Not him, that's for sure. He kept walking, not noticing a student walking the opposite way. He suddenly bumped into that student.
"Ouch, sorry."
He looked down on the ground. What type of skinny little first year girl would fall from a bump?
Draco looked up. "Oh, hello Potter."
Harry shot him a disgusted look. Was Malfoy that thin?
Draco gulped. "Er…help me get up?"
Harry flashed him a last look and continued walking away.
Draco sighed and stood up. Why was Potter so rude, he would never know. He was just trying to be a friend, that's all. He walked back to the Slytherin common room, with low spirits.
"DRACOOO!" he heard Pansy yell.
"What?"
"Nothing."
Draco gave her a confused look. "Whatever."
"No, not whatever. You look down, is there anything wrong?" she asked.
"I'm fine." He dismissively waved and sat alone in an empty spot.
Why was Harry getting ruder and handsomer? Every single day he would get a tiny bit ruder and handsomer. Why? And why does he, Draco Malfoy, find it hard to ignore him? All he could do is smile and hope that Potter would somehow drop the rude attitude and start becoming friends with him.
"Draco, are you ok?" Goyle asked suddenly, as Draco looked up. "I thought you loved attention."
"Oh shut up."
"But you-"
"Shut up, you bitch! I'm trying to think!"
Everyone looked at Draco and Goyle. Draco turned red.
"What?! Mind your own business!"
He turned and ran away to his bed in the boys dorms. He jumped on his bed and hugged his pillow.
What the hell did he do wrong for Potter to hate him so much? This was too much to handle for a thirteen year old. He closed his eyes as tears were starting to pour down from his eyes.
Why does he love Potter?
I hope that was a good start! Tell me what you think, please review!
