Castiel/Dean undertones
Dean: "Well, look at me. I mean, I came back from the furnace without any of my old scars. No bullet wounds, no knife cuts, none of the off-angled fingers from all of the breaks - I mean, my hide is as smooth as a baby's bottom. Which leads me to conclude, sadly, that my virginity is intact."
Sam: "...What?"
Dean: "I've been re-hymenated."
"So…I'm guessing your hymen is still in tact." Sam ventured as they drove away from the town and Jamie, Dean had that stupid loopy grin plastered on his face. At Sam's words the grin slipped to be replaced by a scowl.
"Don't push it Sammy. I was in a good mood until you opened your pie-hole." Sam laughed, a loud, clear noise that bubbled from his chest, infecting the car with his good mood and Dean couldn't help but smile back.
"Seriously Dude…I was this close." Dean held up a hand, thumb and forefinger millimeters apart. Sam laughed again.
"What happened?" Sam sounded genuinely concerned and interested, but he was damned if he was going to tell his brother that mental images of a certain emotionless Angel had flitted almost unwittingly into his mind and made him practically jump away from Jamie.
He felt irritated, confused and dare he say it, scared. The Angel who had come into his life, turned it upside down, made him throwing worrying glances at his brother who he wasn't sure he knew as well as he thought anymore, had also infected his mind. He shook his head, suddenly hating Castiel for plaguing his thoughts. He had really wanted to loose himself in another blond for the evening, but had ended up "talking all night", something which Dean Winchester never did.
He shuddered at the thought and was bought back to the present by Sam's gentle laughter.
"Trouble performing?" Sam asked, a wicked grin plastered on his face. And Dean suddenly wondered why he thought he didn't know his brother anymore. Moment like this, when their old sibling bickering came back and Sam's smile was enough to pull him out of melancholy or confusion made him feel safe, and contented.
"Bitch." He muttered, slightly pissed that all it took was Sam to laugh to make the rough edges of the world smooth.
"Jerk." Sam drawled back.
