The weeping willow tree

Please, please come with me

Down to the weeping willow tree

where there is water that runs blissfully

Come hear the water that runs down the rocks

that feeds the weeping willow tree

I know we've been there only once

But please just come follow me

Down to the weeping willow tree

Lets roll through the grass

Like we did years ago

On that day we had found this place

Lets swim in the water from the stream

Like we had done on that day

Lets sit beneath the willow tree

That we have avoided all this time

Lets go to that place That we once loved

In a thoughtless time

Lets forget the past

And what happened here

To the one we loved

Lets forget the moment

we saw her there

The one, the peaceful dove

Lets forget the tears

that we both cried

When we saw her face

Lets forget the sadness

We still hold

From that dreaded place

Lets move on with what happened here

But I still can not forget her words

Just before she died

She said,

"please, please name this place after

What has happened here.

Remember this moment forever and always

And keep it very close and dear

You will once need them later on

In a time of need

Just think of this moment

and how important it is

Forever and always"

And I still remember

When she closed her eyes

And left this sad, sad world

It started to rain upon our heads

with tears in our eyes

We picked her up

And moved her under the tree

And I still can't forget

when we buried her there

Under the place we now call

The weeping willow tree.
