I was in the Forbidden Forest, it ws dark, the only ligth comming from the full moon above.

I knew I wasn't allowed to be there, but some of the older students had offered to help me with some of my defence against the dark arts homework if I only got them some potions ingredients harvested in the forest during the full moon.

I had brougth along an enchanted candle, but the howling wind had blown it out of my nimble fingers, and my lumos wasn't brigther than a pale sparkle yet.

I was on my way back to the castle when I heard it, a loud arwoo comming only a few meters from behing me. I recognised the symthoms: nigth, full moon, a howling that wasn't the wind behind me, and my mind stated the oblivous: I was in danger.

I dropped the ingredients I had harvested, older students be damned, maybe I could pick them up tomorrow if I only survived this encounter with this unknown beast, ot must have been a beast as only a beast could scream like the one behind me did, and ran for my life.

Sadly I was slower than the werewolf, I had worked that out and was glad I had been wise enough to wear my silver jewlery, and it jumped on me, only to jump off as if in pain with it was in because it had grabbed my wrist where I wore a silver bracelet until it was torn off as the lycanthrope rushed off me.

Wryly I remembered reading in an old, tattered book that even though bombarda was the only spell that worked directly on werewolves, that didn't stop simple transfigurations like maling a match into a needle, so I weilded my wand and quickly transfirurated some of the many twigs in the fur of the werewolf into something of silver, and then heard a moan of pain so awfull I nearly didn't have the heart to pick up the ingredients I had discarded earlier, and ran off to the castle and into the safety that the dungeons provided.

Safe at last was the thougth that came into my head as I slipped out of consioness, still not noticing the blood that flowed out of the newly aqired bite on my shoulder.

AN: this was some of my homework at hogwarts extreme(www. hexrpg. com), so if you have any disagreement with bombarda being the only spell working on a transformed werewolf, take it up with the dada teacher that told that in the lesson about werewolves.
