I'll say this once. I don't own Naruto or any character, places, things, ect. Affiliated with the show/manga. That's aaaall Kishimoto Masashi. The only things I own are unfamiliar things (a.k.a. the stuff from my imagination).
The wind blew through the trees causing her hair to fly around her head. She sighed. She's finally back, but would they accept her? She left her own village; granted she had a very good reason; but she followed almost exactly in HIS footsteps. The only difference was she didn't join other rogue's.
Another sigh escaped her lips quickly turning into a gasp as she remembered something. What will he think of my being back here? Will he lead the mob that will surely show up with pitchforks and torches? Stand by and watch? Help? No... No he wouldn't help. Not after what I did to him. She opened her dark brown eyes in order to further survey the area around her before jumping down from the branch in the tree. No he won't help and I won't hold it against him, she thought, right before she got tackled to the ground by someone. Definitely back in Konoha. Quickly she pulled out a kunai while examining her opponent. "Wait a minute, I know you!"Shock crossed her face. He hadn't changed that much. Taller, seemed a whole lot faster, DID HIS EYEBROWS GET BIGGER?, and still he had that green jumpsuit... Maito Gai. Her expression turned to slight relief as she examined him, if she had to pick someone to have her first encounter with in Konoha Gai would probably have been her choice. Finally she noticed him jumping up and down in front of her while glancing at the kunai every once in a while. Quickly it was replaced in her weapons pouch and she was enveloped in another 'hug'. He stepped back "Chiaki? Is it really you? Where have you been? We sent so many people after you but their youthfulness couldn't keep up with yours! I see it still burns brightly as ever! We must show Tsunade you're back! And then to find everyone and-"
"Gai I'm not ready to see everyone."
"What? Why?"
"I've been running for 5 days on barely and food and water and no rest," she said with a dry expression on her face.
"Oh. Well then you must rest so your youthful spirit will burn even brighter!"
An amused look crossed her face as she smiled, 'Bushybrows. You haven't changed a bit have you?'
She opened her mouth, "Gai, is my apartment still there and, well, mine?"
"Yes! Kakashi, my eternal rival, has diligently kept it open for you for the fateful day when you would return!"
"Really? Hmm… Thank you Gai," She said smiling, "I should be able to find my way there on my own. Could you possibly tell Tsunde-Sama that I'm back but wish to stay incognito until further notice? Pleeease?"
"Of course! I shall get there in less than two minutes even though it is normally a five minute run! YOSH!"
"Erm… Have fun with that," Chiaki said, while inching away slowly, "I'll just be going this way now…."
"But, Chiaki-Chan isn't your apartment the other direction?"
"Yes! Yes it is!," She said while furtively attempting to get a reasonable explanation for going the other way, "It is indeed Gai but I, I, I, I want to explore the village and see how it has changed? Yes! Yes that's what I want to do!"
"Oh, well then goodbye my newly returned youthful wolf flower!"
Her only response was attempting to shield her eyes from his blinding smile and 'Nice guy pose' while wondering why she's always stuck in these types of situations and why he still had to call her a 'youthful wolf flower' as he ran off.
