Teddy didn't like to feel. He'd felt too much when he was little. Damn it, he'd felt enough for a lifetime by the time he was eight years old, and it wasn't fair. So, perhaps that's why he treats girls like they're paper; if he can't feel, neither can they.
But he's content with pretending Victoire doesn't exist, he's content pretending she doesn't make him feel. He's content pretending, because that's all he's done his entire life.
The only problem is, Victoire isn't content pretending she doesn't love Teddy.
