With me after a burnout after putting up the next chapter of FitD, it's time for another Raer oneshot!

Ironforge was busy as it ever was, mostly as this was the day when many people of all races in the Alliance would come together to bet on races in the building near the Auction house. The rules were that those betting would pick a horse of their choice the week before and then after a week, come to building to hear the results. Two people (a dwarf and worgen) had won their bets, while the hundreds more left in disappointment to where ever they came from. One gnome warlock called Raer was one of them.

As he sighed to himself as he walked away from the building with the crowd, there he saw, well to him, a most wonderful sight, Nefti Airslicer. Anyone who knew them all knew that Raer was crazy in love with the gnome priest, but see wanted to do nothing with him.

"Hey up, toots!" Raer smiled happily at her as he walked up to her.

Nefti backed away from him, as he got closer, she was in no mood for him, especially as she noticed he had come out of the betting building empty handed. "Have you been throwing your money away again?"

Raer suddenly placed his arm around her waist, much to her shock. "Listen, toot's. One of these days I'm going to be a big winner, and when I do, it's a trip round the world in first class with us drinking champagne all the way!"

Nefti backed away from him. "Oh, you won't get me on no adventure where no woman is safe."

"…That's Undercity, baby," Raer explained. Despite this she was happy to walk away from him. "Hey I could pay all the bills for us, too expensive? Alright there's my bed, last offer!"

The gnome priest kept walking away from him, still, Raer walked off with that stupid grin of his on slapped on his face.

"She'll be mine someday."

Heh, that was fun, just a lot of dribble, isn't it? Maybe Raer will get the girl? Who knows...
