It was another Girl's Night Out with Penny, Bernadette, and Amy Farrah Fowler. Amy had chosen to pass on the liquor, after what happened last time, so she had sparkling water, unlike Penny and Bernadette, who both had red wine.

"So Howard and I are trying to compromise on the wedding," Bernadette said, taking another sip. "Like, maybe we do the Jewish-breaking-glass-thing, but we have a priest instead of a rabbi."

"That sounds fair," said Penny.

"As fair as it may be," said Amy. "I don't see how it could work. I mean to say, are you sure a Christian priest would be willing to perform a Jewish ceremony? Also, I was wondering how Mrs. Wolowitz took the news that she would be getting a Christian daughter-in-law."

Bernadette considered this, then said, "On the other hand, maybe we'll go to the courthouse with you two and the guys as our witnesses and not tell Howard's mom until it's over."

"Excellent choice," said Amy.

"Wait, you haven't told Howard's mom yet?" asked Penny.

Bernadette shook her head. "No, but we're trying to find a way to tell her. Well, I'm trying to find a way. Howard's exact words were, 'To Hell with Ma, let's just get married at the courthouse, get drunk, and then hop on the next flight to Rio. She'll never even know until she has to go to the bathroom and needs help!'."

All three girls shuddered at that image.

Bernadette decided to change the subject, much to Penny's relief. She turned to Amy. "So, how's that experiment with Sheldon going?"

"Very well, thank you. Ricky has finally graduated from cigarettes to pipes. We figure it'll be another… hmm… 3.47 months before he can hold a gun."

"Are you seriously gonna make him shoot Priya?"

"Why not, I mean, everyone but Raj, Howard, and Leonard hates her."

"I know!" burst out Penny. "That gossipy, two-timing, catty, man-stealing—"

She then noticed that Amy was giving her a confused look. Bernadette was smiling with one eyebrow raised.

"Never mind…"

Bernadette had mercy on her friend, and went back to Amy. "You and Sheldon sure do spend a lot of time together, huh?"

Amy nodded. "Oh yes. In fact, if I did not have any female companionship in you and Penny, he would be my best friend."

"What's he like in private, you know, when he's having fun with someone he likes?" Penny asked.

"He's really quite charming, if you ask me," Amy said lazily. She took another gulp of her water.

"Oh? How charming?" Bernadette asked slyly.

"What are you getting at?"

"I mean, do you ever want to… kiss him?"

"I did kiss him, once."

Penny choked on her wine. "You what?" she spluttered. "Did you guys have sex?"

Amy shook her head. "Oh, heavens no. See, I only kissed him due to intoxication, and I threw up from all the beer immediately afterward. He was a good friend, though, helping me and agreeing to forget it ever happened…"

"And you never think about it?" Penny pressed.

"I do, quite often. I'm not sure why…"

Bernadette's sly smile was back. She and Penny exchanged a knowing look. "How do you feel when he touches you?"

"Like fireworks are going off, my chest is on fire, and butterflies are in my stomach, why?" Amy replied casually.

"Uh-huh," Penny laughed. "Amy's got it bad!"

"It? What's 'it'?" Amy asked, genuinely not knowing.

"You like Sheldon!" Bernadette squealed. "Ooh, wait 'till Howard hears this!"

"Oh, don't tell him, Bernadette!" Penny scolded, though she was smiling. "He'll tell Sheldon, and that'll ruin everything!"

"How would it 'ruin everything'?" Amy asked. "Sheldon knows and I don't have to tell him."

Penny grinned. "It's more fun this way!"
