A/N: . OMGWTFBBQ I'M SO NERVOUS. P: See, it's my first time gracing y'all with my presence and I don't want to screw it up. I've been writing over in Teen Titans for Jinx and Kid Flash and I thought to myself: hey, their relationships are actually quite similar. So, I decided to attempt Arty/Wally. Spitfire. AHHH! You don't know how happy it makes me to say that(:

They had nothing to say to each other.
So they simply stood there, glaring at each other—hoping the other would back away from the task at hand. However, both were quite stubborn and had great stamina, a side-effect of being a superhero. Good or bad, depending how it was looked at; in this case, it was a terrible thing.
For once, they had absolutely nothing to say to each other. The halls weren't filled with bickering or any sounds, a rare occurrence; if anyone passed by, they would assume they were having a staring contest, like any other pair of teenagers that acted like five year olds.
It wasn't that though.
Neither would step away from a challenge—no matter how idiotic or miniscule—so it continued. She put her hands on her hips; he crossed his arms across his chest. He narrowed his eyes; she raised an eyebrow.
The others convened, whispering about what they believed was occurring in the—their—kitchen. Finally, they decided one would brave it and approach the kitchen, questioning them. Things don't always go according to plan and they returned with no information what so ever, only slightly shaken.
After all, curiosity had killed the cat.
And so it went on, the whole ordeal seeming interminable. His stomach growled to which she smirked, inaudibly acknowledging that she was going to win this competition. He was a superhero though; he didn't give up. He stared back at her, taking a step closer, closer, closer until he had her backed against the refrigerator and her face converged into one of panic as to what in the world he thought he was doing.
He grinned down at her when she tried to side-step him, but failed as he blocked her exit. Silently, he replied that he wasn't quite sure that she was going to win this (pointless) battle. Not one to give up easily, she pushed on his chest, attempting to get that thing away from her own body.
Being stronger though, he didn't budge whatsoever. She continued pushing, struggling against his firm chest. In response, he pressed his body closer to her own, widening his eyes innocently. He would not—he refused—to be the one to quit this time, back down from the challenge.
Seeing no way out of the situation, she ceased her struggling. She would capitulate, but she would not be happy about it. She huffed, blinked, and then looked back up at his freckled face, suddenly having an urge to down a gallon of milk.
"Fine," Artemis complied unenthusiastically.
A/N: I'd superduperreally enjoy it if you reviewed to tell me how much you loved/hated it, you know(: Oh, and you can do whatever you want with what she complied to. ;D (That shouldn't be creepy whatsoever.) It could be [insert idea here] or getting a haircut. I don't know, but I'd like to see that! Yeah…so...REVIEW! :D (Please?) Oh my gosh, that sounded like Captain Marvel in my head. (o.O)
