Mk, this is my first fanfic, so no flamers! It's based of the series The Best Years, with main Character, Samantha Best and my OC, Tif. I know it's short, but I'm working on the next part. It ends with a cliff-hanger, I know, I know, but it picks up in part two. Thakns for reading. ;)
School's Best
Samantha stared blankly at the reflection in the mirror. Her mind was racing with thoughts of suicide and murder, drugs, alchohol, and everything in between. She thought of how she got this way, eyes black, arms dangling meaninglessly at her sides, and how when she spoke, the only thing that came out were tears and gasps. She reached up to her cabinet and opened the scratched wooden door, then stared at the empty orange medicine vales that were sitting on the second shelf. In a burst of rage, she swept her arm across the shelf, causing them to fly across the room and onto the littered floor. Then, she pulled her arms up to her eyes and wept. The only thing that came to her head was "Why did I do it? People used to love me and now…" At that moment, the door swung open, slamming into the yellow-white walls that had been a canvas for Samantha and her friends, but now it was just a scribbled-on wall full of sharpie, pencil, posters and such. Out of the corner of her tear-streaked eye, she saw a shadowy figure appear halfway acroos the room. The colors of the outfit it was wearing were a blur, and long blonde hair rippled down the shirt. "Who's in here?" She demanded as she punched the table with her sore, red fist. "I'm new here…"the voice trailed off like the sound of rain hitting a mailbox. "Oh, I see," Samantha lightened the tone of her voice. "And, which dorm is yours?" "My dorm is room 210, this one." The voice answered. "Is… this where she slept? The voice turned to a hushed whisper. Samantha burst to life and stared at the girl that was sitting on her bed. "No, that's mine." She giggled. "Oh, im sorry." The girl sounded quite serious. "Um, my name is Tiffany, but you can call me Tif if you like." "Ok." Samantha quietly said, hoping for the girl not to hear. "And, may I ask why you are crying? Is it because she died?"
