''I know you told him.'' Tonks said fiercely her hair a fiery red.

''Darling cousin don't get so worked up about it…So what if you fancy my best friend?'' Sirius said casually. Then taking a sip of coffee.

''DON'T GET SO WORKED UP ABOUT IT?'' Tonks roared.

''Yes exactly.'' Sirius said 'You on the other hand are clearly are missing the point.'

''YOU SAID, THAT HE SAID, THE FEELINGS ARENT MUTUAL!''

''I never said that…Quite on the contrary actually.''

Tonks looked utterly perplexed.

''What?''

''I said: Quite on-''

'I heard what you said.' Tonks said irritated. 'What do you mean? So your saying he does like me?'

'Yes.'

'Did he say so himself?' Tonks asked. She seemed to have calmed down.

'No dear cousin ofcourse not…' Sirius said prestigiously. Rolling his eyes. 'I read his diary.' He said again sarcastically.

'Are you sure?' Tonks asked eagerly

'Positive.'

Tonks grinned widely; her hair turning a blush pink

'Ahhh young love….'

'Shut up.' She said sternly her hair turning red once again.

Sirius chuckled. 'Cousin I guess I should inform you that he is staying over tonight. You know upstairs…right across the hall….from your room…' Sirius winked.

Tonks rolled her eyes. 'Shut up Sirius.'

'Hello Moony how are you this fine evening?' Sirius said loudly from the hall. Tonks ran from the kitchen.

'Remus! How nice to see you.' Tonks said going in for a hug. Instead of a hug she ofcourse tripped over the ugly ancient umbrella stand landing herself face first into Remus's chest.

*BAM*

'FILTHY BLOOD TRAITORS IN THE HOUSE OF BLACK! MUDBLOODS….' Mrs. Blacks voice rang out loud and clear. Sirius ran to go shut it while Tonks still suppressed in Remus's chest while he sort of caught her. It was a very awkward position and Tonks's hair turned to the deepest red possible from utter embarrassment.

'Sorry.' Tonks said mortified.

Lupin chuckled. If it was possible Tonks'S hair enflamed even more. She stood up strait and tried to redeem her dignity. Lupin smiled cheekily.

'What?' Tonks asked

'Nothing, nothing at all.' Remus Lupin said still smiling.

Tonks leaned in so their faces were nose to nose.

'what is it?' Tonks whispered annoyed at being snickered at.

Remus Lupin did not immediately answer.

'Its just that your hair-' Lupin started but then abandoned all train of thought when Tonks's lips suddenly met his. Lupin kissed her back eagerly. Someone cleared their throat from a short distance away . Tonks and Lupin pulled apart instantaneously.

'Well I gather you don't doubt my words anymore, dear cousin?' Sirius asked chuckling.

Tonks giggled and nodded her head turning vivid red again from embarrassment.

'Bout time Moony found love.' He added soundlessly to himself.

Lupin looked confused but delighted. Padfoot turned around and walked into the kitchen leaving Tonks and Lupin to themselves.

'Wow. He can be a real mood killer.' Lupin muttered

'Not nessesarily.' Tonks said grinning wickedly.
