Distant and deep. This is Candracar… an elsewhere with neither time nor space. A vast nothingness in the centre of which rises The Temple Of Congregation… allow its splendour to dazzle your eyes. Come closer if you dare, but do so in silence… The Oracle is about to speak…
"There is no more time, brothers and sisters! The veil is once again in danger. It is time for the Guardians to return and defend the origin of all things!" he tells the council.
"Who will the chosen ones be this time, sir?" a creature asks.
"Six girls, Althor" Replies the Oracle softly. To the smartest, the word Six instead of five is what surprises then. To the less smart, it's the human part.
"Human beings!" gasps one of the 'less smart'.
"Magical beings, Luba. Nature with be their friend, the earth their mother, and the elements their allies." He explains as the orbs begin to hum. He motions to them.
"Air! Water! Earth! Fire!" He hesitates "Heart!" At the mention of a new Guardian whispers fly about the Temple. The addition of a new Guardian was unheard of, but The Oracle knew it was necessary, for if the girl named Elice Digdor was not on the Gaurdians side, then she would indefinitely betray them at the most dire point.
The red head is thrown about in the wind as The Oracle speaks of the final Guardian.
"And then her" The wind lifts her, and throws her at the rain. She falls through the rain towards the ground. Will! A voice calls. Again it calls as the rain batters her Will! She falls further. The ground approaches her at see-your-life-flash-before-your-eyes speed. The girl hits the ground as the voice calls one final time Will!
"Aaagh!" Wilhelmina Vandom cries as she slams forth in the heavily packed station wagon.
"Wake up, Will! Did you have a bad dream, honey?" Susan asks as she brushes some of her jet black hair behind her ear.
Will wipes a cold sweat off her forehead. "How scary! There was… there was a terrible storm." She breathes, teeth chattering.
"Look's like it raining cats and dogs just about everywhere!" Susan says, clicking on the radio. As the rain beat down onto the car the listened to the latest forecast.
"-Waves of terrible weather continue to hit the entire county on the coast-" Click.
"And this would be Heatherfield?" Asks Will grimly.
"Well, I'll admit, seen like this it doesn't make a great impression, but I'm sure that tomorrow it'll look a lot better." Replied her mother, almost – ugh – cheerfully.
"Tomorrow is my first day of school, Mum."
"Okay, so let's say the day after tomorrow!"
They reach the warehouse complex, and two watchers, well, watch them.
"I knew she would come, Vathek." The small, slim one hisses.
"She detests this city but she'll survive." Susan passes Will a box. The instant it's in Will hands the bottom breaks and – plop – The contents spill on the ground. Susan hugs her.
Across the street the thin one speaks to his far larger companion, Vathek.
"Yes, I'm certain the this girl and I shall get along well, old friend!" He chuckles.
"It will be a pleasure to destroy her!"
