Naraku was chasing his prey. It would not escape him, not when he was so close to his goal. Surely the evil hanyou should have sent one of his underlings on such a meager task, yet the thrill of the hunt was much too enjoyable to deny such a pleasure.
Yes, Naraku knew he was toying with nature, and for that he will not be forgiven in the afterlife. He, however, was sure that once he obtains the Shikon Jewel, no enemy will be able to claim his life, and even the time itself will not affect him.
Naraku had fastened his pace and only the rustle of leaves could be heard as hanyou stalked his prey through the forest. Soon, oh so very soon another innocent life will end.
He leaped forward, arms wrapping themselves around the victim's neck. Naraku smirked as he heard the bones snap in his vile hands.
"Yes, you will make an excellent pelt for I, Naraku", he whispered in the dead baboon's ear.
A. n.: Yeah, I guess, I have this nasty cruel side in me. Greenpeace is probably gona sue me, but I couldn't help it: the inu-tachi have destroyed so many puppets, that baboons by now should be wiped from existence and Naraku should be bald.
