Masquerade
Masquerade
A rose, half love, half pain, draws blood and hope.
You are my red rose, my love and my pain.
In darkness, candles flicker as you mope.
You tried to love once, but it was in vain.
Dancing with swirling colors of rainbows;
Masks over our faces, masks cover our hearts.
Eyes met for a brief second, love arose.
We dance, longer together then apart.
The music of the night swarmed over us.
The moonlight made our spirits start to soar;
The twickling stars shown, all angles faultless.
I think of you fondly and adore.
Never our love will stop ending, never.
Together at last, we're one forever.
