Banshee: Wow. Two oneshots in two hours. When it comes to oneshots, I'm on a roll today! ^-^ I hope this good mojo keeps coming. Well, here's another little oneshot I made, starring Nikki and Deidara. I hope you like it.

Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto or its characters, or Pokemon. They both belong to their respective owners. I only own my OC and the plot.

Nikki and Deidara were walking down a long winding road in the woods, enjoying a nice little conversation about Pok'emon. Ever since she first brought it up, the blonde ninja wanted to know more about this strange world where young children could go around catching powerful monsters and pitting them against each other in battle with one goal in mind; to become the best trainer in the world. As they walked down the trail, she told him about how these creatures had power over certain elements, grew more powerful after every battle, and competing for gym badges, working your way up until you reach the five most powerful trainers in the region.

"So, Nikki. What're your favorite Pok'emon, hm?" Deidara asked.

"I like blue, and water types happen to be blue, so I like water type Pok'emon." Nikki said. "In every game I played, my starter was a water type. My favorite starter was Squirtle, but my favorite water Pok'emon ever is Vaporeon. It's just so cute and awesome, and I love how it can melt into the water by changing its molecular structure. Oops. I'm rambling a little. Sorry. So what Pok'emon would you like?"

"The kind that explode, hm."

"So you'd like Voltorb, or Electrode, then; or anything that knows selfdestruct."

The sky was partly cloudy when they first started their walk, but now the clouds were starting to move in, and they had suddenly turned dark; a universal signal that it was going to rain. Nikki wasn't wearing a jacket, so Deidara, deciding to be a gentleman, took off his Akatsuki cloak and offered it to her.

"Here." He said.

She gave him a weird look. Since when did Deidara practice chivalry?

"It's going to rain. Take my cloak… unless you want to catch a cold and have Tobi-baka taking care of you for a week."

Without a second thought, Nikki took the cloak and wrapped it around herself, and Deidara took off his hat and put it on her head. A small burst of thunder sounded before the rain started to fall. The rain was particularly heavy today, and without a shield of some sort, one would be soaked to the bone in a matter of minutes. Nikki stood there in a cloak and hat, while Deidara braved the elements without any protection whatsoever.

"Are you sure you're gonna be okay?" Nikki asked, concerned.

"I can handle a little rain, hm." He said, though the amount of rain was far from 'little.'

His eyes widened when she looked at him, and her lips curled into a sweet smile.

"Aw, that's so sweet, Deidara. Thank you." She said gratefully, referring to the coat. "But you didn't have to do that."

"So cute…" He thought, blushing a little as she smiled at him.

What she said next, however, caused him to facefault.

"I brought an umbrella."
