After she walked away, he had wanted to tell her the truth, but he couldn't. Not now. She needed her head on straight if she was going to help her sister and save the O.Z.
"Family is most important. I don't know who taught me that." She had said and his heart, well, what resembled a heart; ached from keeping the truth from her since the rescue at the Tower.
She wasn't the only one he needed to tell the truth. There was Jeb. What would he say if he knew the truth and honestly, if there was anyone who needed – should – know, it was him. Nevertheless, he couldn't tell him. How would it affect him if he found out the truth? How would Jeb react to him? Would he loathe him? Embrace him because he's still all Jeb has?
He could keep it a secret, but eventually everyone would find out. How can anyone keep this a secret for long anyway? Besides, he owed it to Wyatt Cain. The man deserves a proper burial and his friends and family need to be able to mourn him.
He decided at that moment, that if they survived their planned attack on the Tower, he would tell everyone.
Wyatt Cain died just as he emerged from the icy lake. He took Wyatt's place to be found later by Glitch.
The inhabitants of Milltown knew how important it was for the ex-Tin Man to protect the Princess, so they followed the would-be-heroes. When the time required it, they made their presence known.
The real Wyatt had seen them and pleaded for help. However, it was too late for him. His final request was for them to keep DG safe. And they did in the best way they knew how. Roboparents took care of her on the Other Side.
In the Outer Zone, they gave her a real Tin Man to watch over her.
