Run Loki Run

Loki ran as fast as he could through the palace. He could hear the boisterous laughter of Frandral, Volstagg, his brother, and Hogun. It wasn't like he didn't have this coming. Taking a quick turn, Loki ran towards Frigga's garden. He knew if he wanted to have a chance of surviving this chase, his mother's gardens would be his best hope. Loki knew these gardens better than almost anyone. He really hoped he could lose her amongst the flowers and trees. He sat with his back to a tree surrounded by flower bushes.

"Loki, darling?" Loki's head shot up to see his mother. She looked quite amused. "What are you doing?"

"Uhm…that is a very good question," Frigga arched an eyebrow waiting for Loki to finish. "I thought I would see how you are doing and check if you needed anything." Loki finally answered as he composed himself quickly.

"Uh huh," Frigga said sarcastically, "She's around the corner." Frigga tilted her head in the direction that he had come from.

Loki's eyes widen as his head shoots in the direction he had come from. A mixture of excitement and fear flashed through Loki's eyes. Looking back at his mother, Loki smirked as Frigga chuckled, "You may want to run, Loki dear."

"I think you may be right." Loki stood up and kissed Frigga on the cheek. "Thank you, Mother."

"LOKI?!" A shout sounded from much too close.

"Gotta go," Loki said with a grin and ran.

Frigga laughed as she watched her son continue down the path; running deeper into her beloved gardens.

"Loki! Get back here, Silvertongue!" Sif ran into the clearing Frigga was currently occupying. Sif, surprisingly, was not in any of her usual battle practice attire. She quickly stopped to bow to Frigga. "My Queen,"

Frigga chuckled and shook her head. "Feel free to continue. I'm sure he has it coming."

"Thank you, My Queen," Sif said before running off after Loki again. "LOKI!"

Frigga watched them run off, hearing Loki's distant laughter and Sif's shouts. She briefly wondered what Loki did this time. Although, it was Loki there are numerous things that he could have done.
