"It's so nice to see you boys again!" Helen said, smiling as she gave each boy a hug. "So, how's everything been?"
"Joe's finally dating Stella. 'Member, we told you about that crush he had?" Nick said.
"Oh, I remember. I'm happy for you, Joseph."
"Yeah, thanks Helen." He glared at his brother. Sure, he said he'd say it, but he didn't believe him. Now he'd get an earful when he got home.
"So, Kevin, I've heard some rumors about you and some girl being seen around town. Who is she?"
"Oh, Helen, I don't have a clue what you're talking about." He said, smiling innocently. She laughed, turning to Nick.
"Last I heard, you were with, oh what was her name? Manny?" Nick choked with laughter on the water he'd taken a sip of. "Not her name?" He was still laughing.
"Her name was Penny. She's a-" Joe paused. "Meanie face."
"Is she? Why's that?"
"That's kinda private. Sorry, Helen."
"Oh, it's alright. I understand. So....okay. What's up with Kevin?" They turned to him, he was in daze with a goofy smile on his face. "Kevin? Kevin!"
"27!" He blinked. "What?"
"You were out of it. Thinking of someone? Oh, wait. You don't have a clue what I'm talking about." He grinned.
"Nope."
"Oh, come on. Tell us at least something that describes your current relationship status."
"Well..." He thought it over, thinking back through the last 2 months.
"Kevin, Kevin, Kevin!" A voice squealed, running up to him. He smiled, lifting her into the air and spinning around. "Ahh! Kevin!"
"It's nice that you're the first one I see when I come home." He whispered. She smiled up at him. "I love you, Macy."
"I love you too, Kevin." She leaned up, gently pressing their lips together.
"Dudes! Stop sucking face and listen!" Joe yelled, turning the radio's volume up.
"My lips like sugar, this candy's got you sprung. So call me your sugar, you'd love you some. I'm sweet like da double dee double da da.."
"Oh my god, Macy! That's you!" Kevin yelled, a grin plastered on his face.
"Uh-huh! I wanted to surprise you!" Ever since her debut in their song 'Keep it Real,' Macy had grown famous fast. People loved her. "You like it, right?"
"Of course! I love it." She smiled, grateful. He was proud of her. He leaned down, kissing her once again.
"You could at least wait until I leave the room." Joe said, walking out.
"I love sugar." He finished, smiling. They gave him looks of confusion. He knew, about a mile or so away, a girl was watching her tv with a smile on her face. He looked at the camera and winked. That sugar would be so happy to see him when he got home.
Oh, I'm such a corndog. :P
But, the song's been haunting me all day.
"Write something, write something!" It was mocking me. O.o
