AUTHOR'S NOTE: I made a post in my LiveJournal, offering to write drabbles on request. This is one of the resulting ficlets. In this case, Sar asked for a story about Eomer/Legolas...and I immediately thought "what's the one thing they have in common...?"

WARNING: Hovers between PG-13 and R, depending on your slash tolerance.

"You're drunk."

"I am not."

"I thought you do not trust elves."

"Is this about trust?"

"I trust you."

"Good." Eomer stole another kiss, then tracked his companion's gaze to the newly coronated king and his lovely queen. "Legolas...let him go."

A soft, bitter laugh. "Can you?"

"Perhaps not. But I think seducing you shall serve as an excellent distraction for us both." Rakish smile, hands evading cloth to clasp bare skin. "Do you accept?"

Legolas shivered and tore his attention from the couple as his friend tugged him into the shadows. "... I accept. But...don't tell the dwarf."

"Never."
